Madrigal went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Wednesday's 8-1 victory over the Pirates.

Madrigal has missed a lot of time this season with a shoulder ailment, although he has displayed a knack to get on base during his small sample size. The 23-year-old is 19-for-50 with a .404 on-base percentage thus far in 2020. The White Sox are top-five in the league in runs scored, adding slightly more appeal to Madrigal's outlook.

Moncada went 2-for-5 with a run scored and one RBI in the White Sox' 8-1 victory against the Pirates on Wednesday night.

Moncada came into the contest in a 3-for-21 slump. After a hot start to the season, he has hit a meek .239 in the White Sox last 30 games. He ranks in the bottom fifth of the league for exit velocity, expected batting average and strikeout percentage.

Moustakas went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Cubs.

Moustakas' long ball came off Cubs starter Yu Darvish in the first inning, and that was the only scoring for either team. The 31-year-old Moustakas has hit safely in five of his last six games, going 6-for-19 (.316) with two homers, four RBI and two runs scored in that span. He's slashing .236/.337/.416 with four homers, 14 RBI and seven runs scored in 29 contests overall.

LeMahieu went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and a stolen base Wednesday, as the Yankees beat the Blue Jays 7-2.

Lemahieu has now hit safely in 27 of 33 games this season. He launched an opposite-field bomb in the third inning, marking his third home run of the month. The 32-year-old has raked to the tune of a .355/.404/.524 slash line and should only further benefit from the eventual return of Aaron Judge (calf) and Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring).

McMahon isn't in Wednesday's lineup against the Padres.

Even with a righty (Zach Davies) taking the mound for the Padres, McMahon will take a seat Wednesday. Josh Fuentes will start at first base in his absence.

Astros manager Dusty Baker said that Bregman won't start in Wednesday's game against the Athletics, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

After he was sidelined for just over three weeks with a strained hamstring, Bregman returned from the 10-day injured list Tuesday. He started in the front end of a twin bill with Oakland, going 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts before sitting out the nightcap. Both Baker and general manager James Click have indicated that Bregman will eased back into action slowly, so his absence from the lineup for a second straight game appears to be precautionary. Bregman should check back into the lineup for Thursday's series finale with the Athletics, and with a team off day on tap Friday, he could play both games of the Astros' weekend series in Los Angeles versus the Dodgers.

Longoria (glute) is in the starting lineup Wednesday against the Mariners.

Longoria was reportedly feeling better Tuesday but got an extra day to recover. He'll reclaim his spot at third base Wednesday, batting sixth.

Ramirez (hand) will return to the lineup Wednesday against the Royals, batting second and playing third base.

Ramirez left Monday's contest with what was originally called left thumb discomfort. An MRI taken Tuesday revealed nothing worse than a bruise on his hand, and he's ready to go one day later. He's been quite productive over his last 12 games, hitting .295/.404/.591 with four homers and three steals, so his return will be a big boost for Cleveland's offense.

Reynolds will start at third base and will bat sixth Wednesday against the Indians, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Reynolds was called up from the alternate site Tuesday and started in the Royals' 8-6 win over the Indians, going 0-for-3 with a run scored. In the lineup for the second straight day against a right-handed pitcher (Carlos Carrasco), Reynolds could get at extended trial at the hot corner while Maikel Franco fills in as the Royals' designated hitter in place of the injured Jorge Soler (oblique).

Arenado went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, three RBI and an additional run Tuesday in the Rockies' 14-6 loss to the Padres.

Arenado's first-inning blast off Mike Clevinger ended a 15-game home-run drought for the third baseman. His fantasy utility didn't completely disappear during the power outage, as Arenado still batted .304 while scoring seven runs and driving in seven over that stretch. That said, his ISO stills sits at .209 for the season, his worst showing in the category since his rookie year and 59 points below his mark from 2019.
