Hayes left Saturday's game against the Cubs with an apparent hand injury, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports.

Hayes appeared to be hurt after fouling off a pitch. He was later checked out after sliding back into first on a pickoff attempt, though he initially remained in the game. He's since been replaced by Erik Gonzalez. The exact nature and severity of Hayes' injury are not yet clear.

Donaldson (hamstring) is not in the lineup Saturday against the Brewers.

Donaldson lasted just a single inning this season before suffering his first injury of the campaign, though it was at least a hamstring issue rather than yet another problem with his calves, which have been a persistent issue over the last several years. The Twins are expected to provide an update on his status sometime Saturday. Luis Arraez will start at third base in his absence.

Bregman is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against Oakland, Shayna Rubin of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Bregman started the first two games of the year and was excellent, going 2-for-4 with a homer and a walk in each game. He doesn't seem to be dealing with any specific injury, but he battled a hamstring issue for a large part of camp, so the Astros may not want him to play three games in a row right away.

Senzel (shoulder) is available off the bench for Saturday's game against the Cardinals, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Manager David Bell said that Senzel is going to be fine and that his shoulder injury is not serious. Even if he doesn't appear off the bench Saturday, it sounds like fantasy managers will be able to deploy him in weekly leagues next week.

Senzel (shoulder) is not in Saturday's lineup against the Cardinals.

The Reds are hopeful that Senzel can return sometime this weekend, but he won't be a part of the starting nine in this one. He suffered a left shoulder injury on Opening Day but reportedly escaped serious injury. Tyler Naquin will start in center field and bat seventh.

McMahon went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 11-6 loss to the Dodgers.

He took Trevor Bauer deep in the seventh inning for the second of four Colorado homers in the frame, but the team's offense was otherwise quiet. McMahon started the game at second base before moving to third late in the game as part of a double switch, and his defensive versatility -- as well as the Rockies' lack of established alternatives -- should keep him in the lineup this season against all but the toughest left-handed pitchers.

Bregman went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a second run scored in Friday's 9-5 win over the Athletics.

Bregman's had nearly identical lines over the first two games of the season, including homers in each. He's slotted at third in the batting order and drove in the two players before him, Jose Altuve and Michael Brantley, when he homered. Both Altuve and Brantley have a track record of getting on base, so Bregman should have plenty of chances with men on base or in scoring position.

Longoria went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional RBI in a win over the Mariners on Friday.

Longoria knotted the game at 3-3 with a two-run blast in the sixth inning, then plated the game's final run with a single in the seventh. The veteran has gone deep in each of San Francisco's first two games to begin the campaign and has collected four total hits along with a pair of walks over that span.

The Twins will update the status of Donaldson's hamstring Saturday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

The club is apparently very relieved that Donaldson's injury was to his hamstring and not his calf. He was reevaluated Friday but the club won't provide a public diagnosis until Saturday.

Arenado went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a run in Thursday's season-opening win over the Reds.

He also struck out for two of his three outs on the afternoon, so it wasn't exactly a picture-perfect debut. However, Arenado's impact went beyond just serving in more of a table-setting role Thursday, as his mere presence behind Paul Goldschmidt in the lineup could well have helped his teammate see much better pitches than he would have otherwise. Considering Goldschmidt parlayed that opportunity into a 4-for-5 day, it's evident Arenado's value to his new squad could extend beyond just what he produces in the box score.
