Davis had X-rays come back negative on his left hand Tuesday and was diagnosed with a bruise, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
The 27-year-old was hit by a pitch on the back of the left hand in his first plate appearance Tuesday, but it appears he avoided a serious injury. Davis should be considered considered day-to-day and could be held out of the series finale Wednesday afternoon at Philadelphia.
