Escobar went 3-for-5 with two home runs, three total runs and seven total RBI in an 11-4 win over Washington on Saturday.

Escobar plated two runs with a single in the first inning, but that was only the beginning of a big night at the plate. He launched a three-run homer to right field in the fourth and a two-run shot in the eighth, helping him tie a career high with seven RBI. Escobar entered the game mired in a 1-for-34 slump and is batting only .213 on the season, but his nine home runs are tied for 13th in the league.

Farmer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's win over the Rockies.

Farmer tallied his second three-hit game this week. His home run came in the 11th inning off Ben Bowden to give the Reds a two-run lead. The 30-year-old isn't hitting very well on a day-to-day basis, but he is receiving more playing time due to Joey Votto (thumb) being on the 10-day injured list. Farmer is slashing .241/.337/.337 with two home runs, nine RBI and 11 runs in 95 plate appearances.

Devers went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional run scored during Saturday's 9-0 win versus the Angels.

The 24-year-old delivered a solo shot during the seventh inning and scored earlier in the contest on a double from Bobby Dalbec. Devers has a .279/.356/.571 slash line with 10 home runs, 11 doubles, 31 RBI and 25 runs through 38 games.

Candelario (knee) is dealing with some swelling and won't be in the lineup Sunday against the Cubs, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

The 27-year-old suffered the contusion on his left knee when he was hit by a pitch Saturday, and he'll receive the day off Sunday to help the swelling subside. Candelario could be back in the lineup Monday for the series opener at Seattle if he avoids any further issues.

Candelario was removed from Saturday's game against the Cubs with a left knee contusion after being hit by a pitch.

The 27-year-old went 1-for-2 with a walk and a run scored before leaving the contest. Candelario should be considered day-to-day as he continues to be evaluated.

Moustakas (heel) will not start Saturday's game against Colorado.

Moustakas has suffered a pair of injuries in the last two days. He left Thursday's game with a shoulder issue but returned to the lineup Friday, only to exit early again due to a heel contusion. Neither issue appears particularly worrisome, but Moustakas will get at least one day to rest and recover. Alex Blandino will take over at first base.

Senzel (heel) remains out of the Reds' lineup Saturday against the Rockies.

Senzel was forced to exit Thursday's game early and has not been in the starting lineup since. The Reds have said they don't expect him to miss an extended amount of time, but his absence opens playing time for Jonathan India at second base and Tyler Naquin in center field.

Vargas was designated for assignment by the Cubs on Saturday.

Vargas had served as a depth option since early May but is no longer needed now that Ian Happ (ribs) is back from the injured list. Vargas didn't do much with his infrequent opportunities, posting a .488 OPS in 24 plate appearances.

Davis (hand) will need a rehab assignment before being activated from the injured list, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Davis is eligible to be activated from the injured list. However, that activation likely won't come during the team's weekend series against the Rays, as he will need at least a few swings on a rehab assignment before returning.

Urshela (knee) went 1-for-1 with a go-ahead three-run homer in Friday's 5-4 win over the Orioles.

Urshela was held out of Friday's starting lineup due to a sore knee but still made a big impact as a pinch hitter with a three-run blast to give the Yankees a 5-4 lead in the seventh. It was the 29-year-old's fifth home run of the year and brought his RBI total up to 19. He's hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games and is slashing .298/.347/.482 on the season altogether.
