DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: On bench for nightcap Sunday
LeMahieu is out of the lineup for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader with the Yankees.
LeMahieu will receive some routine maintenance after he played all nine innings at third base in the Yankees' 2-1 win in Game 1 while going 1-for-4 at the plate. Josh Donaldson, who rested in Game 1, will replace LeMahieu at the hot corner in the nightcap.

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: Not in Sunday's lineup
Wisdom (ankle) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.
Wisdom was pulled from Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader with a bruised left ankle, and he won't be in the lineup for Sunday's series finale. The 30-year-old had X-rays come back negative, so he appeared to have avoided a serious injury. Jonathan Villar will receive another start at third base in his place, though manager David Ross said Wisdom is available off the bench Sunday if needed, according to Mike McGraw of the Chicago Daily Herald.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Sent back to minors
The Rays optioned Paredes to Triple-A Durham on Sunday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Paredes will lose his spot on the 26-man active roster after the Rays reinstated Ji-Man Choi (elbow) from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. During his week-long stay with Tampa Bay, Paredes appeared in six games and went 5-for-19 with a double, two runs and two RBI.

Matt Reynolds 3B | CIN
Reds' Matt Reynolds: Opportunities increasing
Reynolds will start at second base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Reynolds will pick up his fourth start in five games Sunday, with those assignments coming at three different positions (second base, shortstop and right field). The 31-year-old's defensive versatility should allow him to hold down a near-everyday role until the Reds get at least one of Joey Votto or Nick Senzel back from the COVID-19 injured list.

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Steals base Saturday
Ramirez went 2-for-8 with a double, a walk and a stolen base during Saturday's doubleheader versus the Blue Jays.

Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Idle for front end of doubleheader
Donaldson is out of the lineup for the first game of Sunday's doubleheader with the Rangers.
With Donaldson and Isiah Kiner-Falefa both resting for the front end of the twin bill, the Yankees will deploy DJ LeMahieu (third base) and Marwin Gonzalez (shortstop) on the left side of the infield. Expect both Donaldson and Kiner-Falefa to rejoin the lineup for the nightcap.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: Mashes third homer
Toro went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-2 loss to Tampa Bay.
Toro was unsuccessful in his first three at-bats but took reliever Ralph Garza deep to right in the ninth inning for his first extra-base hit since a home run on April 27th. The 25-year-old had been hitless in his last 13 at-bats prior to the long ball and is slashing a low .151/.221/.302 through 25 games.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Monday debut confirmed
White Sox manager Tony La Russa confirmed that Moncada (oblique) will be activated from the 10-day injured list ahead of Monday's series opener against the Guardians, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.
According to Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times, La Russa added that Moncada will be included in the lineup Monday as the No. 2 hitter, with Luis Robert moving into the cleanup spot to accommodate the 26-year-old for what will be his 2022 debut. Moncada was placed on the injured list after he strained his right oblique shortly before Opening Day, but he was cleared to start up a rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte in late April. Over his six games with the affiliate, Moncada hit .318 with two home runs, a double and two walks.

Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: On bench Sunday
Hayes is not in the lineup Sunday against the Reds.
Hayes started the past 11 games and will take a seat Sunday for only the third time this season. Michael Chavis will man the hot corner in his place and bat third.
