Muncy went 1-for-4 with his second home run of the season in Monday's 8-5 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Muncy should see regular at-bats at the hot corner against righties until either Logan Forsythe (shoulder) or Justin Turner (wrist) return, with Enrique Hernandez being needed in the outfield following Corey Seager's placement on the disabled list with a season-ending elbow injury. The 27-year-old hasn't been able to replicate last year's success with Triple-A Oklahoma (.309/.414/.563), but he could be a short-term source of power in deeper formats with three of his six hits this season going for extra bases.

Asuaje is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Giants.

Asuaje, who is hitting just .200/.276/.305 through 29 games this season, will head to the bench for the second time in three games as he continues to get squeezed for playing time. Jose Pirela will once again start at second base, with Franchy Cordero starting in left field.

Rendon (toe) could embark on a rehab assignment as soon as Tuesday, Chelsea Janes of The Washington Post reports.

This certainly seems like a step in the right direction at face value, though the third baseman was reportedly sore Sunday after a vigorous workout Saturday. The team may opt to continue taking the cautious approach with Rendon, so it seems like he won't be back in the lineup until later this week at the earliest.

Senzel is starting at second base and hitting second for Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

Senzel was scratched from Sunday's lineup after exiting Saturday's game with a shoulder injury, but it turns out the Bats were just playing it safe with the highly-regarded prospect. The 22-year-old will look to pick up where he left off prior to suffering the minor injury, as he was hitting a respectable .264/.346/.431 with two homers and two stolen bases through 18 games.

LeMahieu (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day disabled list Monday, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.

LeMahieu picked up a hamstring injury in Friday's game against the Marlins. He sat out for the final two games of the series with hopes of improving enough to avoid a trip to the DL, but the ailment didn't respond as hoped, so the Rockies decided to play it safe and send him to the shelf. It's unclear how long the injury will keep LeMahieu sidelined, but he's eligible to return May 8 should he prove ready. In the meantime, Pat Valaika should hold down the keystone until LeMahieu is healthy. In a corresponding move, Carlos Gonzalez was reinstated from the disabled list.

Suarez went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Sunday against the Twins.

Suarez has been a mixed bag since his return from the disabled list, posting two hitless games and two multi-hit games. While he has yet to go deep, he does have two doubles, so it doesn't appear that his hand is causing him further discomfort. He has been locked into the fifth spot in the lineup, which should give him plenty of opportunities to drive in runs batting behind Joey Votto, Scooter Gennett and Jose Peraza, all of whom can get on base at a decent clip.

Longoria went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.

Longoria has gotten off to a bit of a slow start, but the bat is finally starting to come alive. In his last three games, the 32-year-old is hitting .417 (5-for-12) with two home runs, a double, three runs scored and six RBI. The blast was his sixth of the year, to go along with a .247/.278/.527 slash line.

Farmer will start at third base and bat eighth Sunday against the Giants, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Farmer is in the lineup for the third time in four games and looks poised to receive the bulk of the playing time at the hot corner until the Dodgers get either Justin Turner (wrist) or Logan Forsythe (shoulder) back from the 10-day disabled list. The 27-year-old has earned the increased opportunities by reaching base at a .372 clip through 43 plate appearances this season, but a lack of power or speed and a low slot in the batting order limit Farmer's fantasy upside.

Senzel (shoulder) was scratched Sunday from Triple-A Louisville's lineup for the club's game against Toledo, John Wagner of The Toledo Blade reports.

Louisville initially listed Senzel as its designated hitter and No. 2 hitter for the day, but the team evidently decided it was best to give the the 22-year-old another day off while he manages a left shoulder injury. The fact that Senzel was close to playing one day after suffering a jammed shoulder indicates that a trip to the 7-day disabled list likely won't be in store for the Reds' top prospect.

Nationals manager Dave Martinez suggested that Rendon (toe) is unlikely to be activated from the 10-day disabled list ahead of Monday's game against the Pirates, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

Rendon was first eligible to return from the DL on Sunday versus the Diamondbacks, but the club felt the third baseman needed a little more time to recover from the left toe injury. The 27-year-old was able to complete an on-field workout Sunday, reinforcing Martinez's belief that Rendon is coming along well and is close to returning. Rendon will likely do some more activity Monday with the hope of gaining clearance to play the following day.
