Baty is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cardinals.

After taking a seat against Cardinals righty Andre Pallante in Tuesday's 3-0 loss, the left-handed-hitting Baty will remain on the bench as St. Louis sends southpaw Matthew Liberatore to the bump for the series finale. Mark Vientos will stick in the starting nine in Baty's place, manning first base and batting sixth.

Tena is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies.

The left-handed-hitting Tena had been included in the lineup for the first two games of the series while the Nationals faced off against right-handers, but he'll hit the bench Wednesday as southpaw Cristopher Sanchez toes the rubber for Philadelphia. Daylen Lile will get a day off from playing the outfield and will replace Tena as the Nationals' designated hitter.

The Rockies reinstated Freeman (back) from the 10-day injured list Wednesday.

Freeman spent the minimum length of time on the shelf after the Rockies deactivated him prior to Opening Day while he recovered from lower-back inflammation. The 26-year-old didn't complete a rehab assignment prior to returning from the shelf, but he was able to get in some live at-bats during batting practice in Toronto the past two days, per MLB.com. Freeman is expected to fill a super-utility role for Colorado and should be a mainstay in the lineup against left-handed pitching while playing semi-regularly against right-handed pitching.

Suarez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Nathaniel Lowe will draw the start at designated hitter while Suarez rests for the first time this season as the Reds close out their series against Pittsburgh with a day game after a night game. Through Cincinnati's first five games, Suarez has gone 4-for-21 with one home run, one walk, four RBI and an additional run while striking out nine times.

Muncy went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk in Tuesday's 4-1 victory versus the Guardians.

Muncy gave the Dodgers a little breathing room with his solo shot to right field in the sixth inning to make the score 2-0. He also scored the final run of the contest in the eighth frame after rapping a single to center. The veteran third baseman notched his first RBI of the campaign on the solo blast, but he's hit well so far, slashing .364/.553/.636 through five games. He's also showing his usual good eye at the plate with more walks (four) than strikeouts (three).

Arenado isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Arenado will sit down for the first time this season after going just 2-for-16 (.125) with five strikeouts over Arizona's first four games. His absence will allow Jose Fernandez to start at third base and bat sixth in what will be Fernandez's MLB debut.

Baty isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game versus St. Louis.

Baty has opened the new season with a four-game hitting streak, but he'll retreat to the bench Tuesday while Mark Vientos serves as New York's designated hitter and bats sixth.

Triolo is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest in Cincinnati.

Triolo batted leadoff the other time the Pirates faced a lefty, but he will begin this one on the bench. Nick Gonzales is at shortstop and Nick Yorke is handling third base for Pittsburgh against southpaw Brandon Williamson.

Marte will start in right field and bat seventh in Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

The Pirates are sending right-hander Bubba Chandler to the hill, and Tuesday marks the first time that Marte has been in the lineup against a righty in three matchups this season. Will Benson -- who has been vying for playing time with Marte -- is also in the lineup, as he will slide over to left field while Spencer Steer gets a breather.

House is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Phillies.

House started the first four games of the season at third base for Washington, going 6-for-19 with a homer, three RBI, five runs and seven strikeouts, but he's also committed three errors. Jorbit Vivas will step in at the hot corner Tuesday to face rookie righty Andrew Painter.
