Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Collects two hits in season finale
Machado went 2-for-4 with a double in a loss to Arizona on Sunday.
Machado concluded his first year in San Diego by going 6-for-11 over his final three games. Nonetheless, the 27-year-old's season as a whole was mildly disappointing as his .256 batting average was the lowest of his career and his home run (32) and RBI (85) totals fell short of his 2018 marks. The Padres invested heavily in Machado last offseason and will undoubtedly be expecting a bounceback campaign in 2020.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Braves' Josh Donaldson: Sitting due to bruised hip
Donaldson was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets due to a bruised left hip, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
The issue stems from Donaldson getting hit by a Steven Matz pitch during Saturday's 3-0 loss. Donaldson doesn't look to be at any real risk of missing any games during the Braves' upcoming NLDS series that begins Thursday, so his removal from the lineup for the regular-season finale was probably precautionary more than anything. Adeiny Hechavarria will replace him at third base and bat fifth.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Braves' Josh Donaldson: Scratched from lineup
Donaldson was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
The Braves haven't announced a reason behind Donaldson's removal, but his absence is presumably for maintenance purposes more than anything else with the postseason just days away. Assuming Atlanta doesn't summon Donaldson from the bench, he'll conclude his first season in the National League with a .259/.379/.521 slash line, 37 home runs, 96 runs, 94 RBI and four steals across 659 plate appearances.

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Still out Sunday
Arenado (side) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Brewers.
As expected, he will be unable to make it back before the end of the regular season. Ryan McMahon is starting at third base and hitting cleanup.

Jean Segura 3B | CLE
Phillies' Jean Segura: Out for finale
Segura (ankle) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Marlins.
He will end up missing the final three games of the regular season with the ankle injury but is expected to have a normal offseason. Sean Rodriguez is starting at shortstop and batting eighth.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Belts 35th homer
Muncy went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's win over the Giants.
Muncy launched a 429-foot shot to right field in the sixth inning to plate the final run in the 2-0 victory. The 29-year-old has followed last season's breakout performance with another strong campaign in 2019, tying last year's mark with 35 homers while slashing .252/.370/.518 and placing second on the squad in RBI (98), runs (99) and walks (86).

Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI
Rockies' Nolan Arenado: Likely out Sunday
Manager Bud Black said Arenado (side) "probably won't play" in Sunday's season finale versus the Brewers, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
Arenado was withheld from Saturday's starting nine due to side soreness, and it's not a major surprise to see the team remaining cautious with its star third baseman for the final game of the season. Assuming he remains sidelined, the 28-year-old will finish 2019 with a .315/.379/.583 slash line with 41 home runs and 118 RBI in 155 games.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Homers for second straight game
Machado went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Diamondbacks.
Trailing 1-0 in the third inning, Machado belted a Robbie Ray offering over the fence in left-center field to pull the Padres ahead. Machado is up to 32 homers, 85 RBI and 81 runs scored in 155 games this year.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Brewers' Mike Moustakas: Smacks 30th double
Moustakas (elbow) went 1-for-4 with a double in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Rockies.
Moustakas missed two games with the elbow injury, but he played the whole game at third base Saturday. It's the fourth time in nine years Moustakas has reached 30 doubles in a season. He's added 35 homers, 87 RBI and 80 runs scored across 142 games this year.
