Alec Bohm 3B | PHI
Phillies' Alec Bohm: Three hits in Tuesday's loss
Bohm went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Dodgers.
The third baseman brought homer Bryce Harper with a first-inning single, but the Phillies' offense went quiet the rest of the way despite Bohm's best efforts. He's reeled off three multi-hit performances in the last four games, but on the season his weak .222/.281/.364 slash line makes him a prime candidate to get replaced at the trade deadline if Philadelphia can find an upgrade.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Plays hero in Tuesday's win
Muncy went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Phillies.
The veteran third baseman took Zack Wheeler deep in the fourth inning for the Dodgers' only offense of the night, but Justin Wrobleski and the bullpen made it hold up. It was Muncy's 19th homer of the season and second in five games since the All-Star break, and per Sonja Chen of MLB.com, he's now tied with Ron Cey for fifth on the franchise's all-time list with 228, with Hall of Famers Duke Snider (389), Gil Hodges (361) and Roy Campanella (242) sitting ahead of Muncy along with more recent star Eric Karros (270).

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Homers twice in win
Machado went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs in Tuesday's 8-3 win over Atlanta.
Machado homered off Reynaldo Lopez in the fifth inning and then JR Ritchie in the sixth. The 34-year-old went 0-for-9 in his first three games back from the All-Star break but looks to be heating up again, going deep three times during consecutive two-hit efforts. For the year, he's slashing .204/.294/.433 with 22 homers, 59 RBI, 50 runs scored and two steals across 413 plate appearances.

Curtis Mead 3B | BOS
Nationals' Curtis Mead: Three hits in Monday's win
Mead went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Monday's win over the Rockies.
The Nationals cranked out 12 hits in total, including five extra-base hits, to kick off the Coors Field series, and Mead's three knocks led the way. The 25-year-old infielder has seven multi-hit performances through 13 games in July, slashing .431/.500/.765 on the month with 10 of his 22 hits (six doubles, one triple, three homers) going for extra bases.

David Hamilton 3B | MIL
Brewers' David Hamilton: Sent out on rehab assignment
Hamilton (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Hamilton has missed the last two weeks of action with a left hamstring strain but has been cleared to test things out in games. If all goes well, the speedy infielder could return from the injured list Friday. Joey Ortiz has posted a 1.013 OPS with three home runs in 11 games since Hamilton was hurt, so Hamilton could operate in more of a reserve role when he returns if the Brewers want to play the hot hand at third base.

Jacob Reimer 3B | NYM
Mets' Jacob Reimer: On rehab assignment
Reimer (groin) began a rehab assignment in the Florida Complex League on July 14.
Reimer is hitting .429 with one home run in three FCL rehab games, most recently playing Monday. He tweaked his groin and went on the injured list at Double-A Binghamton on June 18, per Matt Eddy of Baseball America. Prior to the injury, Reimer had regressed compared to his run at Double-A in 2025, as he was slashing .212/.332/.391 with six home runs, 13 steals and an unlucky .271 BABIP in 50 games for the Rumble Ponies.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Pops homer No. 20
Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to Atlanta on Monday.
Machado kicked off the scoring in the contest with a 402-foot solo shot to center field. That was his 20th long ball of the season, giving the veteran third baseman 11 consecutive campaigns -- excluding the pandemic-shortened 2020 season -- with 20-plus homers. While Machado's .708 OPS so far in 2026 is still on pace for a career-worst mark, he's been substantially better over the past month, posting a 1.016 OPS with eight home runs, 21 RBI and an 18:20 BB:K over his past 25 games.

Giants' Matt Chapman: Making progress in rehab
Chapman (abdomen) has been faring well in his rehab and could be activated in time for San Francisco's upcoming homestand, which begins Friday against the Angels, Evan Webeck of the California Post reports.
Webeck notes that Chapman made it through one of his more active rehab days yet Monday, and he felt good throughout the workout. Manager Tony Vitello stated that he believes Chapman could be activated from the 10-day injured list in time for Friday's series opener, though the team should have a better idea of his return date as the week progresses.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Taking seat against tough southpaw
Muncy is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.
With a tough lefty (Cristopher Sanchez) on the bump for the Phillies, the left-handed-hitting Muncy will hit the bench while the Dodgers make room in the infield for Miguel Rojas. Muncy had started in each of the Dodgers' previous five games, going 3-for-15 with a home run, a double, four walks, two runs and two RBI.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Moved up to cleanup spot
Riley will start at third base and bat cleanup in Monday's game versus the Padres.
Riley is coming off a big weekend series against the Rangers, having gone 6-for-12 with three home runs. As a result, he is up in the cleanup spot for Atlanta for the first time since May 18. Riley had batted seventh in each of his last four and 13 of his last 16 starts.
