  • Jose Miranda 3B | MIN

Twins' Jose Miranda: Back in action at Triple-A

Miranda (hand) was activated from the 7-day injured list at Triple-A St. Paul on Friday, Bobby Nightengale of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports.

Miranda is in St. Paul's lineup at third base Friday after missing the previous month with a strained left hand. He hit just .167 over 12 games with the Twins prior to his demotion in mid-April.

  • Andy Ibanez 3B | DET

Tigers' Andy Ibanez: Drives in two Thursday

Ibanez went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Rockies.

Ibanez helped lead the Tigers to an easy 10-2 win then began the nightcap on the bench, though he did enter the contest late as a defensive replacement. The utility player has a solid .259 batting average and .746 OPS to go along with two home runs and 12 RBI in 25 games, but his inconsistent playing time limits his overall fantasy appeal.

  • Rays' Junior Caminero: Continues to thrive at home

Caminero went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and an additional RBI in Thursday's extra-inning loss to the Phillies.

It was the slugging third baseman's first multi-RBI effort since April 17. Caminero also has just one multi-hit effort in his last 15 outings, but he has consistently occupied a premium spot in Tampa Bay's batting order. It's also worth noting he's thrived at hitter-friendly George M. Steinbrenner Field this season, as Caminero is batting .298 with an .891 OPS over 94 at-bats at home while hitting a paltry .122 with a .330 OPS across 41 at-bats on the road.

  • Luis Rengifo 3B | LAA

Angels' Luis Rengifo: Out of lineup Thursday

Rengifo is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Blue Jays, Rhett Bollinger reports.

Rengifo remains a key part of the Angels' lineup, though he has started to sit more of late. He began the regular season with only one day off through 21 games, but he since appears to be settling into a pattern of getting at least one day off per week. His slight downturn in playing time could be a result of his slow start at the dish, as he has just a .210/.246/.277 line across 126 plate appearances. Both Yoan Moncada and Tim Anderson are in the lineup Thursday in Rengifo's absence.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

White Sox's Josh Rojas: Taking seat Thursday

Rojas is not in the lineup for Thursday's game in Kansas City.

The left-handed-hitting Rojas has now been out of the lineup both times the White Sox have faced a lefty since he returned from the injured list this past weekend, so he looks to be on the strong side of a platoon as he bounces back and forth between third base and second base. Miguel Vargas is at the hot corner and Lenyn Sosa is at the keystone for Thursday's series finale.

  • Ezequiel Duran SS | TEX

Rangers' Ezequiel Duran: Promotion made official

The Rangers recalled Duran from Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday.

The Rangers played a man short in Wednesday's game against the Red Sox, as they put Kevin Pillar (back) on the injured list prior to the contest but had to wait for Duran to arrive in Boston after traveling. Duran is with the big club now, and he'll serve in a utility role.

  • Josh Jung 3B | TEX

Rangers' Josh Jung: Homers in loss

Jung batted ninth in the order and went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Red Sox.

Jung swatted a homer off closer Aroldis Chapman in the ninth inning. It was his first home run in 12 contests and third of the season. As part of recent personnel changes -- a new hitting coach -- and attempts to shake up a team that has underperformed offensively, manager Bruce Bochy has experimented with different batting orders. He had Jung batting ninth for a second straight game. It's hard to read this as a "demotion," as Jung has been better than several struggling Ranger hitters. Perhaps the manager wanted to stick with the same order that produced 16 hits the previous game.

  • Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA

Angels' Yoan Moncada: Goes deep again Wednesday

Moncada went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-4 win over Toronto.

Moncada now has two games under his belt since returning from a nearly month-long stint on the injured list, and he's homered in each contest while driving in four runs. The veteran third's baseman's long ball Wednesday was a 386-footer to right field for his team's first run. Moncada has struggled to stay healthy in recent campaigns, but he has a chance to return to fantasy relevance as the Angels' primary third baseman if he can put those injury issues behind him.

  • Alex Bregman 3B | BOS

Red Sox's Alex Bregman: Continues hot streak Wednesday

Bregman went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a solo home run and a two-run single in Wednesday's 6-4 win over Texas.

Bregman gave the Red Sox their first run in the fourth inning with a solo homer off Tyler Mahle, and the third baseman put Boston on top for good in the seventh with a two-run single. Wednesday marked the fifth time this season that Bregman has logged at least three hits, and he has reached base safely in 19 straight games. Over that span, Bregman has slashed .378/.471/.784 with 20 runs scored, seven home runs and 18 RBI in 87 plate appearances.

  • Jace Jung 2B | DET

    Tigers' Jace Jung: Sitting Wednesday

Jung isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Colorado.

Jung will get an opportunity to regroup Wednesday after going 1-for-16 with five strikeouts over his last seven games. Zach McKinstry will shift to the hot corner to fill in for Jung, who could be on his way back to Triple-A Toledo if he doesn't rediscover his swing soon.
