Yankees' Gio Urshela: Could be back Tuesday
The Yankees could activate Urshela (elbow) from the 10-day injured list as soon as Tuesday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Urshela reported to the Yankees' alternate training site in Moosic, Pa. this weekend and has been getting in at-bats in simulated games as he prepares for a return to the big-league roster. The Yankees will presumably check back in on Urshela during Monday's off day, and if the team's medical staff determines that he's good to go after battling a bone spur in his right elbow, he'll slot back in as team's everyday third baseman right away. Before getting hurt, Urshela had more or less repeated his 2019 breakout, posting an .873 OPS over 120 plate appearances.

White Sox's Nick Madrigal: Sitting Sunday
Madrigal is not in Sunday's lineup against the Tigers.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Delivers game-winning run
Bregman went 1-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Dodgers.
Bregman displayed a nice piece of two-strike hitting and delivered the go-ahead run as part of a five-run rally in the ninth inning. It was an important win for the Astros, who entered the game losers of eight straight. The base knock was Bregman's first in 14 plate appearances since returning from a hamstring injury

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Returns to lineup
Moncada returned to the lineup and went 1-for-6 with a run scored in Saturday's 14-0 win over the Tigers.
Moncada was given a two-day break (the team's off-day Thursday and a rest day Friday) before returning to the lineup Saturday. Moncada has indicated feeling a lack of energy at times this season due to a bout with COVID-19, and the White Sox don't have any more scheduled days off through the end of the season.

Willians Astudillo 3B | MIA
Twins' Willians Astudillo: Cranks first homer
Astudillo went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Saturday against Cleveland.
Astudillo took Zach Plesac yard in the second inning for a solo home run, his first long ball of the season. He has gotten only 11 plate appearances to this point in the campaign due to a combination of illness and being placed at the Twins' alternate site. With Alex Avila (back) on the injured list, Astudillo should have the chance to rack up some playing time as the backup catcher.
