Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
Angels' Yoan Moncada: Still out Friday
Moncada (knee) is not in Friday's lineup against the Guardians.
He ran on the field before the game and the team waited to see how he felt before finalizing the lineup, so it seems like Moncada is day-to-day after being removed from Wednesday's game with knee soreness. Luis Rengifo will man third base and bat ninth while Scott Kingery starts at the keystone, batting eighth.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Collects career-high six RBI
Caminero went 3-for-6 with a home run, a double, six RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's 13-3 win over the Astros.
The six RBI were a career high for Caminero, who homered in his second straight game and appears to be heating up at the plate recently. Over his last seven outings (29 at-bats), the slugging third baseman is batting .414 with three home runs, five doubles, 12 RBI and seven runs scored. Caminero also has five multi-hit games during this stretch.

Ernie Clement SS | TOR
Blue Jays' Ernie Clement: Homers, drives in five
Clement went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and a two-run double in Thursday's 12-0 win over the A's.
All five of Clement's RBI came in Toronto's eight-run second inning. He opened the scoring with a homer off Jacob Lopez, his second of the season, before driving in two more runs with a double in his second at-bat in the frame. Clement had gone 14 games without an extra-base hit prior to Thursday -- he went 8-for-46 (.174) with a .443 OPS in that span. Overall, the 29-year-old infielder is slashing .256/.301/.344 with 16 RBI, 17 runs scored and two stolen bases across 176 plate appearances this year. Clement should continue to serve as the Jays' primary second baseman in the absence of Andres Gimenez (quadriceps).

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Logs three hits in win
Ramirez went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Wednesday's 7-4 win over the Dodgers.
Ramirez immediately extended a career-best hit streak to 21 games with a run-scoring single in the first inning. He later doubled and scored in the seventh. During the streak, Ramirez is batting .393 (33-for-84) with a 1.100 OPS, eight doubles, one triple, four home runs, 12 RBI, seven walks, six steals and 20 runs.

Royals' Maikel Garcia: Extends hitting streak to 13 games
Garcia went 2-for-4 with one run scored in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Reds.
Garcia extended his hitting streak to 13 games, and it was the sixth time during this stretch that he recorded multiple knocks. Over his last 50 at-bats, the speedy infielder is hitting a scorching .380 with one homer, four doubles, eight RBI and six runs scored. Garcia has 10 extra-base hits, 15 RBI, and six stolen bases in the month of May as he's turned himself into a key contributor for Kansas City.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
Angels' Yoan Moncada: Pulled with knee soreness
Moncada was removed from Wednesday's game against the Yankees with right knee soreness.
The severity of Moncada's injury remains unknown, but the Angels will likely have more information on his status once they take a closer look at him. Kevin Newman entered as Moncada's replacement at third base in the sixth inning and could be in line to start at the hot corner if the 30-year-old is unable to play against the Guardians on Friday.

Junior Caminero 3B | TB
Rays' Junior Caminero: Homers in win
Caminero went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Wednesday's 5-0 win over Minnesota.
Caminero extended Tampa's lead to 3-0 in the fourth inning with a 406-foot shot off Pablo Lopez, his 10th homer of the year. Caminero's been swinging the bat well of late -- he now has four multi-hit performances in his last six games, going 9-for-23 (.391) with a pair of homers and six RBI in that span. Overall, the 21-year-old is slashing .249/.278/.452 with 26 RBI, 24 runs scored and three stolen bases across 209 plate appearances this season.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
Angels' Yoan Moncada: Hits homer in ninth frame Tuesday
Moncada went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday.
The Angels entered the ninth inning on the verge of being shut out, but Moncada got the team on the board with a solo blast off Devin Williams. The long ball was his first extra-base hit over his past four games, a stretch in which he's gone 2-for-14 at the plate. Moncada continues to work as the Angels' primary third baseman, and despite a .222 batting average, he's done some positive things at the plate, including recording five homers and 18 RBI along with a 12.6 percent walk rate over 27 contests.

Miguel Vargas 2B | CHW
White Sox's Miguel Vargas: Keeps swinging hot bat
Vargas went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Mets.
The 25-year-old gave the White Sox a quick lead with a two-run homer in the first-inning off Tylor Megill, but Jonathan Cannon squandered it in the bottom of the frame and Chicago never recovered. Vargas has banged out an extra-base hit in four straight games, and over his last 14 contests he's slashing a dazzling .310/.328/.724 with six doubles and six home runs among his 18 hits.

Oswald Peraza 3B | LAA
Yankees' Oswald Peraza: Goes deep in win
Peraza went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and walk in Tuesday's 3-2 victory over the Angels.
The utilityman crushed a line-drive homer to center field off Hector Neris in the seventh inning, providing a key insurance run that helped secure the win. It's been tough sledding for the 24-year-old, who's slashing just .203/.283/.322 with eight extra-base hits over 79 at-bats this season. The injury to third baseman Oswaldo Cabrera on May 12 opened up more playing time for Peraza, but he hasn't capitalized on the opportunity. Tuesday's home run was a positive sign, but the Yankees will likely continue exploring both internal and external options to maximize production at the hot corner.
