Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Two hits, two RBI
Miranda went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 5-1 victory over the White Sox.
Miranda tallied two hits Sunday, including a two-run double in the top of the ninth inning to increase Minnesota's lead to four. The multi-hit effort was his second in his last three games, a welcome sight as he is hitting .218 over his last 15 games with only three extra-base hits, all doubles. He will look to regain his power stroke that he showed in July, when he slugged .603.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: Sticks in bench role
Toro remains out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians.
Toro had started in all three games of the Mariners' recent series with the Tigers, but he has yet to appear in the first two contests in Cleveland and will remain on the bench for the series finale. With Adam Frazier settling back into an everyday role at second base now that Seattle is at full strength in the outfield, Toro is expected to see light usage as a utility man moving forward.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Takes seat Sunday
Bregman is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Bregman will step out of the lineup for the first time since Aug. 1, and he was on fire at the plate during that 29-game stretch with a 1.079 OPS, seven home runs, nine doubles, 23 RBI, 28 runs and a 18:13 BB:K. David Hensley will step in at the hot corner and bat seventh Sunday for Houston.

Ryan Kreidler SS | MIN
Tigers' Ryan Kreidler: Picks up third straight start
Kreidler will start at second base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Royals.
After going 2-for-5 with two walks, two runs and an RBI while starting both of the past two games at third base, Kreidler will replace Willi Castro at the keystone in the series finale. The Tigers are expected to get primary second baseman Jonathan Schoop (ankle) from the injured list during the upcoming week, but so long as Kreidler keeps producing at the plate, expect manager A.J. Hinch to find room in the lineup for the rookie somewhere.
-
Jonah Bride 3B | TEX
Athletics' Jonah Bride: Losing out on playing time
Bride is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.
Bride is sitting against a right-handed pitcher (Spenser Watkins) for the third time in four games and appears to have lost hold of the everyday role at second base. Tony Kemp will take over at second base in Bride's stead, opening up a spot in the corner outfield for recent Triple-A Las Vegas call-up Cody Thomas, who looks to be the main beneficiary of Bride's role being decreased.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Likely back when first eligible
Moncada (hamstring) is expected to be activated from the 10-day injured list when first eligible, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Moncada has been on the IL with a left hamstring strain since late August but is eligible to rejoin the White Sox as early as Monday against the Mariners. Once the 27-year-old is officially reinstated, he should reclaim his job as Chicago's primary third baseman.

Jonah Bride 3B | TEX
Athletics' Jonah Bride: Not in Saturday's lineup
Bride will sit Saturday against the Orioles.
Bride finds himself on the bench for the second time in three games, though that follows a stretch in which he started six out of seven contests. He hasn't hit the ball with much authority through his first 40 major-league games, slashing .231/.318/.285 with a 1.9 percent barrel rate. Tony Kemp will handle second base Saturday.
-
Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Absent from Saturday's lineup
Paredes isn't starting Saturday against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Paredes returned to the lineup Friday against the Yankees but will head to the bench for the third time in the last four games. Jonathan Aranda will take over at the keystone and bat third.

Rafael Devers 1B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Perfect day at plate
Devers went 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored, one RBI and two walks in Friday's 9-1 win over Texas.
Devers scored a run in the fourth inning before knocking an RBI double and scoring again in the fifth. He's gone 4-for-7 with three doubles over his last two games after snapping an 0-for-20 skid. The star third baseman is now slashing .291/.349/.537 with 62 extra-base hits and 70 RBI through 115 games.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Takes seat Friday
Candelario is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Royals.
Candelario started the past eight games and had a .944 OPS with two home runs, three doubles and eight RBI during that span, but he'll head to the bench for Friday's series opener. Prospect Ryan Kreidler will man the hot corner and could cut into Candelario's playing time down the stretch.
