Twins' Royce Lewis: Homers in third straight

Lewis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Guardians.

Lewis got the Twins on the board Tuesday with a solo blast off Hunter Gaddis in the fourth inning, cutting the deficit to 3-1. It's Lewis' third straight game with a homer and his fifth long ball in his last seven contests. Since returning from the IL on Aug. 15, the 24-year-old infielder's batting .294 (15-for-51) with a 1.026 OPS. Overall, he's slashing a robust .315/.363/.534 with nine homers, 29 RBI, 21 runs scored and two stolen bases across 157 plate appearances this season.

  • Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Gets Wednesday off

Moncada is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

He'll give way at third base to Elvis Andrus in the series finale. Moncada started in each of the last six games, going 9-for-21 with a home run, three doubles, two walks, six RBI and three runs.

  • Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU

    Rays' Isaac Paredes: Homers again

Paredes went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer, an additional RBI and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win over Miami.

Paredes tied the game at 2-2 in the sixth inning with an RBI single and later put the finishing touches on Tampa Bay's 11-2 victory with a ninth-inning, three-run blast. The 24-year-old infielder now owns a modest eight-game hitting streak, going 13-for-35 with four home runs, 12 RBI, nine runs and an impressive 1.192 OPS during that stretch.

  • Alex Bregman 3B | CHC

Astros' Alex Bregman: Homers in win

Bregman went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and an additional run scored in Tuesday's win over the Red Sox.

Bregman opened the scoring with a home run off Brayan Bello in the first inning, his 22nd of the season and fourth in his last 13 games. The 29-year-old third baseman has continued to swing a hot bat -- he's gone 31-for-84 (.369) with 13 extra-base hits over his previous 21 contests. Bregman's slash line is up to .265/.365/.447 with 89 RBI and 85 runs scored across 597 plate appearances on the campaign.

  • Zach McKinstry 3B | DET

Tigers' Zach McKinstry: Doubles, scores Tuesday

McKinstry went 1-for-3 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Yankees.

McKinstry now has hits in three straight games and seven of his last eight appearances. The utility man is still only batting .243 overall, though that's a significant improvement from the .199 mark he posted with the Cubs and Dodgers last season. McKinstry's versatility makes him useful for the Tigers, but he's typically not the most exciting fantasy option.

  • Red Sox's Ceddanne Rafaela: Not starting Tuesday after all

Rafaela is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Astros, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Browne says that the original plan was for Rafaela to start in center field in his major-league debut Tuesday while Adam Duvall received a night off. However, after Duvall homered again Monday -- his sixth homer in eight games -- manager Alex Cora changed his mind. Rafaela might only be around until Wilyer Abreu (paternity) returns.

  • Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Swipes two bags

Henderson went 2-for-4 with a walk, two stolen bases and two runs scored in Monday's 9-0 win over the White Sox.

Henderson has hit safely in 12 of his last 13 games, batting .364 (20-for-55) with eight extra-base hits and three steals in that span. He's up to nine thefts on the season -- while he's had an impactful bat and provided solid defense, he's still not a huge threat to run. The infielder is slashing .251/.329/.479 with 22 home runs, 65 RBI and 75 runs scored over 120 contests.

  • Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN

Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Belts pair of doubles in win

Suarez went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk and a run in a win over the Athletics on Monday.

Suarez didn't have a hand in driving in any of the Mariners' runs for a change, but the slugger still contributed to Seattle's 14-hit breakout with his pair of extra-base hits. Suarez has served up a trio of multi-hit efforts in the last seven contests, a stretch where he's gone without a home run but still has a .375 average, 1.073 OPS, four total doubles, seven walks, four runs and an encouragingly low 15.6 percent strikeout rate.

  • Zack Gelof 2B | ATH

Athletics' Zack Gelof: Grabs steal in loss

Gelof went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Monday's 7-0 loss to the Mariners.

Gelof's bat has cooled off a bit lately -- he's gone eight games without a multi-hit effort. He's added just two steals while batting .156 (5-for-32) in that span. For the season, the second baseman has a .276/.343/.566 slash line with nine steals, 10 home runs, 21 RBI and 24 runs scored over 39 contests.

  • Royce Lewis 3B | MIN

Twins' Royce Lewis: Drills another grand slam

Lewis went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, two runs scored and a walk in Monday's 10-6 win over Cleveland.

For the second day in a row, Lewis belted a grand slam. He's gone deep four times over his last six games and is 14-for-47 (.298) in 12 games since returning from the injured list. The 24-year-old infielder is now slashing .317/.366/.521 with eight long balls and 28 RBI through 153 plate appearances.
