  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Mariners' Adam Frazier: Registers eighth steal

Frazier went 0-for-2 with a sacrifice fly, a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base in Saturday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Athletics.

Frazier's sac fly gave the Mariners a 2-0 lead in the fourth inning. He was also plunked and stole second in the sixth, notching his eighth steal in 12 attempts this year. The second baseman saw his modest four-game hitting streak snapped Saturday, but this was just the fifth time in 18 August games he's produced an RBI. Frazier is slashing .248/.313/.319 with three home runs, 31 RBI and 53 runs scored through 482 plate appearances.

  • Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Collects four hits

Rodgers went 4-for-5 with a double, a run and two RBI in a 4-3 win over San Francisco on Saturday.

Rodgers snapped out of a 2-for-17 slump with his fourth four-hit game of the campaign, including a walkoff single in the 10th off San Francisco closer Camilo Doval. The 26-year-old got Colorado on the board with his third-inning double and added singles in the first, eighth and 10th. Despite the recent cold stretch, Rodgers is slashing a robust .329/.392/.457 across 18 August contests.

  • Luis Garcia 1B | WAS

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Back to normal

Garcia (groin) said Saturday that he feels back to normal, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.

He took grounders at second base and looked to be at full speed charging the ball, per Dougherty. Garcia is eligible to be activated Tuesday at Seattle.

  • Bryson Stott 2B | PHI

Phillies' Bryson Stott: Sitting out second game

Stott is not in the lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Mets.

  • Gavin Lux SS | TB

Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Out against lefty

Lux is absent from the Saturday's lineup against the Marlins.

Lux will get his second day off in the last four games as the Dodgers will face a lefty on the mound Saturday. Lux has been consistent at the plate all season with an OPS of .810 -- a number that has been steadily rising over the past week.

  • Sam Haggerty LF | TEX

Mariners' Sam Haggerty: Heads to bench Saturday

Haggerty is not in Saturday's lineup against the Athletics.

Haggerty has been one of Seattle's hottest hitters, slashing .348/.392/.522 with two home runs and three steals in 15 games this month. Jake Lamb gets the start in right field, hitting ninth.

  • David Hensley 1B | DET

Astros' David Hensley: Getting call from Triple-A

The Astros selected Hensley's contract from Triple-A Sugar Land on Saturday, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

With Aledmys Diaz (groin) and Mauricio Dubon (elbow) both banged up, Hensley will step in to provide utility depth. The 26-year-old career minor leaguer has seen time at every infield position besides catcher this year at Triple-A. He's hitting .298/.420/.478 with 10 home runs and 20 steals in 104 games.

  • Owen Miller 2B | CHC

Guardians' Owen Miller: Riding pine against righty

Miller is not in Saturday's lineup against the White Sox.

He had started four of the last six games, three of those coming against same-handed pitching, but Miller will sit for the second day in a row against a veteran righty (Lance Lynn on Friday, Johnny Cueto on Saturday). Josh Naylor is starting at first base and Oscar Gonzalez is starting at designated hitter.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Remains out Saturday

Marte (hamstring) is not in Saturday's lineup against St. Louis.

Marte made a pinch-hit appearance Wednesday, but he has not started a game since injuring his hamstring during last Sunday's contest versus the Rockies and leaving the game early. Prior to his injury, he had posted an OPS of just .541 over 50 plate appearances since the beginning of August.

  • Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT

Rays' Brandon Lowe: Out against lefty

Lowe is not in Saturday's lineup against the Royals.

As is his custom, Lowe will head to the bench with a lefty (Kris Bubic) on the hill for the opposition. Yu Chang will start at second base and hit seventh.
