Beckham (hamstring) was activated from the DL on Tuesday and is in the lineup for the evening's matchup with the Phillies.

As expected, Beckham was activated Tuesday after missing just over three weeks with a strained hamstring. He'll slot into the lineup at third base Tuesday, and he'll hit sixth against Phillies starter Adam Morgan. In order to clear a spot on the 25-man roster, the Braves DFA'd Matt Tuiasosopo on Monday.

Barreto (leg) is just 4-for-29 (.138) with a home run and two RBI in nine games with Double-A Midland this month.

Barreto was slowed for a couple days after fouling a ball off his leg May 5, and he has just one hit since returning to the lineup Saturday. Despite the rough stretch with the bat, the 20-year-old remains a top prospect and will continue seeing regular playing time at shortstop for Midland.

Forsythe (shoulder) said his X-rays came back negative, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Forsythe was removed from Monday's game against the Mariners after a pitch hit his non-throwing shoulder. He said he's only day-to-day, but did suggest that he might not return until after the Rays' off day Thursday. Tim Beckham will likely start Tuesday's game if Forsythe isn't ready.

Marte hit his first home run, doubled twice, scored three runs and notched three RBI in Monday's win over the Rays.

The career day for Marte gave his OPS a nice 82-point bump. Marte started slow, but he's now having an above-average season for an American League shortstop -- his .297/.323/.398 bests the AL shortstop line of .248/.303/.366 across the board. He also has three stolen bases in four chances, so Marte is beginning to look mighty appealing next to the American League's meager shortstop offerings.

The recent surge by Rodgers pushes his slash line to .358/.421/.642 for the season. The middle infield prospect has seven home runs and 27 RBI through 27 games, simply huge production for his position. Rodgers gives the Rockies yet another standout hitting prospect, and he might be the best of the bunch.

The 29-year-old hasn't played since April 16 because of a hamstring strain. Beckham should receive somewhat regular playing time in the Braves infield once he returns.

When he pinch hit Saturday, Altuve's finger didn't appear to be bothering him at all, and it doesn't appear as though the minor injury will slow him down moving forward. With nine home runs and 13 steals through 32 games, Altuve is on pace for the first 40-60 season in MLB history.

Forsythe went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Saturday's 4-2 victory over the Angels.

The proficient leadoff man's two-out, ninth-inning single plated Logan Morrison and Kevin Kiermaier, snapping a 2-2 tie. Forsythe's banner year has continued in May, as he now has back-to-back multiple hit efforts, and has also scored two runs and drawn a pair of walks as well over the first five games. His stellar .320/.402/.544 line includes a batting average that's currently 64 points over his career figure of .256.
