Drury is out of the lineup for Wednesday's contest against the Rays, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.

Drury, who's been struggling at the plate in his last four games (1-for-9 in that time), will get the day off as the Diamondbacks face the right-handed Jake Odorizzi. Yasmany Tomas, who's hitting .233 against right-handed pitching, will take Drury's spot in right field.

Romero was put on the 7-day disabled list after suffering a left foot contusion, Guy Curtright of MiLB.com reports.

Romero had played just one game at High-A Jupiter, going 1-for-4 with a double, before being placed on the disabled list. He began the season at Double-A Jacksonville, but struggled as he slashed just .190/.299/.290. The severity of the contusion has yet to be determined, so there's no timetable for his return date at this point.

Marte (neck) expects to return to the lineup Wednesday evening against the Indians, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

Marte was scratched late from Seattle's lineup on Tuesday due to neck spasms. Shawn O'Malley stepped into the lineup at shortstop while Marte rested. Manager Scott Servais could still choose to rest Marte another night, as the shortstop is also just coming off of a thumb injury that placed him on the 15-day disabled list, but Marte's optimism is a good sign that his neck injury isn't too severe.

Forsythe (shoulder) will begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

It sounds like Forsythe could be back as soon as Friday, with the second baseman only expected to need two or three rehab games to prepare for a return. He was off to a great start before suffering a hairline fracture in his shoulder blade, batting .308/.398/.525 in 123 plate appearances out of the leadoff spot. Look for Forsythe to slot back in atop the order upon activation.

Marte was scratched from Tuesday's lineup due to neck spasms.

Shawn O'Malley will step into the lineup at shortstop. Marte just made his return from a thumb injury Monday, going 1-for-3 with a stolen base in the loss to Cleveland. The extent of this setback is uncertain.

Motter will bat leadoff Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Mikie Mahtook will move down in the lineup and act more as a run producer with some of the heavy lifters (Evan Longoria, Steve Pearce, Steve Souza) on the bench, affording Motter his first career start atop the order. Motter turned in his second multi-hit game Monday, but he doesn't have an extra-base hit since May 22.

Motter went 2-for-3 with an RBI in Monday's 6-4 victory over the D-backs.

The rookie's average had dipped as low as .147 on June 2, but he's hit .500 (3-for-6) over the last two starts to bring it back to an even .200. Motter has clearly endured growing pains with respect to the adjustment to big league pitching, and has yet to attempt a steal after swiping more than 20 bags in four different minor league stops. Despite the struggles, the 26-year-old figures to continue logging a solid amount of starts for the time being with Brandon Guyer (hamstring) on the 15-day DL.

Chavis (thumb) was activated by Low-A Greenville on Monday, the Greenville News reports. He was set to play Monday night, but the Drive's game against Kannapolis was postponed.

The 20-year-old Chavis, Boston's No. 10 prospect according to MLB.com, was placed on the disabled list April 25 because of a ligament tear in his left thumb. At the time, he was batting .356 with three homers, four doubles and 14 RBI.

Solarte hit a three-run homer in a 2-for-4 game Monday against Atlanta.

Solarte has been on fire ever since he returned to the disabled list May 21, with four homers, 12 RBI and a .315 batting average in those 15 games (13 starts). He has been one of the few bright spots in San Diego and has locked himself into the starting lineup, rotating between second and third base. While he's never hit anywhere near this well over the course of a full season, Solarte has both the contact ability and raw power to be an above-average hitter at both of his positions. He hit .270/.320/.428 with a career high 14 home runs in 152 games last season, and could still be improving at age 28.

Altuve hit his 10th home run in a 3-for-5 game with three RBI in Monday's loss to the Rangers.

Altuve's hitting streak is up to 12 games as his MVP-caliber season continues. His batting line is up to .336/.411/.557, and his .969 OPS has him fifth in the majors among qualified players, behind just David Ortiz, Daniel Muprhy, Jackie Bradley and Manny Machado. With 10 home runs and 16 stolen bases already, Altuve is well on his way to his first 20-20 season of his career after joining the 10-10 club in 2015.
