Max Muncy SS | ATH
Athletics' Max Muncy: Homer, steal in loss
Muncy went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a stolen base in Monday's 7-4 loss to the Angels.
Muncy has found his power with three homers over his last four games. He has gone 6-for-21 (.286) across five games since his recall from Triple-A Las Vegas. The infield prospect started slow during his first stint in the majors, but he looks to be putting the pieces together the second time around. He's at a .202/.228/.382 slash line with four homers, 10 RBI, seven runs scored, four doubles and no stolen bases over 92 plate appearances. He has a short-term path to a starting role at third base, but Gio Urshela (hamstring) is set to begin a rehab assignment soon and could pose a threat to Muncy's playing time later in the month.

Pirates' Adam Frazier: Continues torrid stretch in rout
Frazier went 3-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Monday's 10-3 win over the Marlins.

During this span, the veteran utility man is batting a torrid .395 (17-for-43) with one home run, four doubles, five RBI and six runs scored. Frazier regularly sits against southpaws and continues to see limited playing time since Nick Gonzales returned -- Frazier has taken just 19 at-bats versus lefties in 2025 and has started just four of Pittsburgh's past eight contests.

Zack Gelof 2B | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Ready for rehab stint
Gelof (ribs) is expected to be sent out on a minor-league rehab assignment later in the week, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Gelof was cleared to resume a hitting progression at the end of May, and he's since made enough progress to see live at-bats in the minors. The Virginia product hasn't played in a game yet this season, so he'll presumably need at least a handful of appearances in the minors before being activated from the 60-day injured list.
