Barreto was called up to the big leagues Wednesday from Triple-A Nashville, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Barreto received a promotion to the major leagues after Khris Davis (groin) was placed on the 10-day disabled list. The 22-year-old shortstop has put together a .228/.350/.447 batting line with six home runs and 16 RBI over 31 games at Triple-A Nashville this season. He's expected to be utilized as a bench player during his stint with the Athletics.

Semien went 2-for-5 with an RBI single and a run in an extra-inning loss to the Mariners on Tuesday.

Semien has now compiled three straight two-hit efforts and has knocked in four runs altogether over the last two games. The 27-year-old has been impressively steady throughout May, as he's now racked up eight two-hit tallies and has reached safely in 10 of the last 11 games overall.

Kemp went 2-for-2 with five RBI in Tuesday's win over the Giants.

Kemp got a two-run single in the fourth, a sacrifice fly in the sixth and another two-run single in the seventh. Kemp is making the most of his current playing time, going 6-for-14 in five games. It figures that Josh Reddick will be slotted back into the lineup soon, knocking Kemp back to the bench, but things could be made interesting should Reddick continue to struggle while Kemp performs well.

Albies went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and three runs scored Tuesday against the Phillies.

Albies blasted a home run off Vince Velasquez in the third inning, his 14th of the season. He reached base on two other occasions, scoring a run each time and crossing the plate for each of the Braves' three runs on the night. He continues to lead the National League in runs scored -- he now has 45 on the season -- and trails only Mookie Betts for the major-league lead.

Dubon (knee) underwent successful ACL surgery on Tuesday, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Dubon was hitting an impressive .343/.348/.574 with four homers and six steals across 27 games with Triple-A Colorado Springs prior to tearing his ACL. He'll now focus on getting back to full health for next season, though it's still unclear if he'll be ready for the beginning of spring training at this point.

Andrus (elbow) was cleared to swing a bat Tuesday, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Andrus, who is currently on the 60-day DL, continues to ramp up his baseball activities as he works his way back from a fractured right elbow. Barring any setbacks in his recovery, the 29-year-old could return sometime in mid-June. In the meantime, Jurickson Profar will continue to fill in at shortstop until Andrus is healthy.

Fontana (undisclosed) returned from the 7-day disabled list and went hitless in four at-bats in Triple-A Salt Lake's 6-4 loss to Albuquerque.

Fontana had been sidelined for just over a month with the injury. The 26-year-old is expected to handle a near-everyday role for Salt Lake this season, but he'll likely serve as a utility man if he should receive a promotion to the big club at any point.

Solarte is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday's matchup against the Angels, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Solarte will give way to Devon Travis, who was called up from Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday. Solarte has been slowing down of late, putting together a .224/.250/.328 batting line over his last 14 games.

Polanco is expected to return from suspension July 2 with a minor-league stint beginning as early as June 12, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Polanco was hit with an 80-game suspension after testing positive for a performance-enhancing substance March 18. He'll have a chance to shake the rust off in minor-league games starting in mid-June, with the chance to return to big-league action 20 days later, so long as the Twins don't experience any rainouts.

Guillorme got the start at third base and hit seventh in Monday's win over the Marlins, going 0-for-3.

The 23-year-old has started consecutive games for the first time since his promotion in early May, but Guillorme's 0-for-7 performance doesn't suggest he's seizing his opportunity. The Mets will likely continue platooning him with Wilmer Flores at third base while Todd Frazier (hamstring) is sidelined and Jose Reyes (2-for-22 in May) works on his swing. Guillorme shouldn't be expected to make a fantasy impact during that small window of playing time.
