Barreto was recalled from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Barreto showcased some power during his stint with the Athletics earlier this season, hitting four home runs in 61 at-bats, but he also struck out 25 times. The 22-year-old showed similar issues at Nashville, striking out 106 times in 282 at-bats. Barreto will serve as a depth infielder for the Athletics during the playoff push.

Albies is not starting Saturday against the Pirates.

Albies hit just .245/.297/.309 in August. Charlie Culberson will start at second base in his place.

McNeil is not in the lineup Saturday against the Giants.

McNeil has carried his hot bat with him to the majors, hitting an impressive .319/.386/.471 after posting a combined .342/.411/.617 line with Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Las Vegas prior to his promotion. He'll be given plenty of at-bats down the stretch, though he'll sit Saturday with Jay Bruce starting at first base and Wilmer Flores at second.

Rosario (mouth) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Giants.

Rosario sat out Friday's contest after undergoing a root canal, though he was reportedly available off the bench. He'll be a full participant Saturday, leading off and playing shortstop.

Urias went 1-for-3 with his first major-league home run and two RBI in Friday's 7-0 win over Colorado.

Urias narrowly missed his first homer due to replay review Wednesday, but this time he managed to keep the ball fair. The 22-year-old prospect has gotten off to hot start in his first four games with the Padres, going 4-for-15 with a double, a homer and a steal. Urias only connected for eight long balls in 120 games with Triple-A El Paso prior to his recent promotion, so fantasy owners shouldn't expect a ton of power this early in his career. That said, the second baseman has been batting second in the order, so he could provide value in redraft leagues while seeing regular playing time over the final month of the season.

Rosario is out of the lineup due to a root canal, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Jose Reyes is starting at shortstop in his place. Rosario will be available off the bench and should rejoin the starting lineup Saturday.

Polanco returns to the starting nine for the first time since cramping up during Sunday's contest. Across 49 games this year, he's hit .276/.338/.405 with three home runs and 26 RBI.

Forsythe is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Rangers, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Forsythe will head to the bench Friday as he is 1-for-18 over the last six games, although he does have six walks. Even with the recent slump, the veteran infielder is slashing .308/.406/.352 in August. Ehire Adrianza will take over second base for the Twins and bat ninth.

Rodriguez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 8-7 win over the Yankees.

Rodriguez hit his first MLB home run a week ago, but he now has three in his last five games. The 26-year-old did hit 17 home runs at Triple-A Columbus last season, so he does have a little pop, though his current pace seems unsustainable.
