Hoerner (bruised hand) was placed on the 7-day injured list retroactive to April 24, Double-A Tennessee broadcaster Mick Gillispie reports.

The 21-year-old prospect left Tuesday's game after a pitch hit his left wrist. No structural damage occurred, and he's expected to return at the beginning of May.

Albies went 2-for-4 with a walk and a run scored in Friday's loss to the Rockies.

In his second full season in the majors, Albies is showing signs of developing into a consistent threat at the top of the order. He's slashing .259/.355/.407 over his last seven games, and while the 22-year-old still isn't as effective on the basepaths as he could be -- he's 3-for-5 on steal attempts this year -- he should get plenty of opportunities to improve that aspect of his game if he keeps reaching base consistently.

McNeil went 2-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored in Friday's loss to the Brewers.

He got the start in left field and hit leadoff, and while at some point the Mets might like Brandon Nimmo to reclaim his spot at the top of the order, McNeil's been a table-setting dynamo in his own right this year, slashing .365/.438/.506 with a homer, 11 RBI and 12 runs through 24 games. The batting average puts the 27-year-old second in the National League behind Cody Bellinger, and if he sticks in the leadoff spot, McNeil's run-scoring potential will soar.

Lowe is not in Saturday's lineup against the Red Sox, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

The Rays are going with a righty-heavy lineup with lefty David Price starting for Boston. Lowe is hitting .297 with two home runs and 15 strikeouts (36.6 K%) over his last 10 games. Christian Arroyo is starting at third base while Daniel Robertson gets the start at the keystone.

Drury went 1-for-4 with a two-run walk-off home run in a 4-2 victory against the Athletics on Friday.

It was the perfect time for Drury to break out of an 0-for-12 stretch. Prior to that slump, he went 5-for-8 over two games. Drury also has hit three homers since April 19, but his season average still sits below the Mendoza line at .182. His biggest issue is striking out way too much. Drury has 34 strikeouts versus only four walks in 88 at-bats this year.

Guillorme was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Friday, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Guillorme went 2-for-9 with two strikeouts over three games during his latest stint in the big leagues. The Mets have recalled Corey Oswalt in a corresponding move.

Beckham is not in Friday's lineup against the White Sox.

Quite surprisingly, Beckham is hitting .276/.364/.586 with two home runs over his last nine games. He is also striking out a third of the time over that stretch. Ronny Rodriguez will start at shortstop, hitting fifth.

Kemp went 0-for-3 in Thursday's 2-1 loss to Cleveland.

Kemp has gone 12 at-bats without a hit and is batting just .143 through 13 games. This was his first start in four games and second in the last eight. He's started two consecutive games just once this year -- the season's first two games -- and he'll have a hard time getting his bat going if he's not going to get consistent at-bats.

Chavis went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's game against the Tigers.

Chavis sent a ball over the wall in left during the second inning to give the Red Sox an early 2-0 lead. His power numbers have been impressive early on, as he's already launched two homers in his first six contests since joining the big-league club (18 at-bats).

Andrus (hand) is starting at shortstop and hitting third Thursday against the Mariners.

Andrus had some trouble gripping the bat after getting hit by a pitch in the hand earlier in the week, but he's apparently feeling better ahead of Thursday's series opener. The 30-year-old, who is slashing .345/.394/.540 with three homers and five stolen bases through 22 games this season, will face lefty Marco Gonzales in his return to the lineup.
