Rosario went 5-for-6 with two doubles, a triple, four runs scored and an RBI in Thursday's win over Atlanta.

The shortstop has exploded in August, collecting nine hits in his last two games and slashing .383/.393/.533 through 13 games on the month. The 23-year-old only has one homer, two steals, three RBI and 10 runs during that stretch, but with Jeff McNeil (hamstring) on the shelf, Rosario is getting a look in the leadoff spot for the Mets -- an assignment that should come with more opportunities to produce fantasy value.

Torres went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a 19-5 loss to Cleveland on Thursday.

Torres capped the blowout loss with a solo shot to right field in the eighth inning, his 27th of the season. After going deep only once in 23 games in July, Torres has turned on the power in August, smashing seven long balls through his first 12 games this month. The power has also produced 14 RBI to push his total to 70 on the season.

Rojas went 0-for-4 in Thursday's 7-0 loss to the Giants.

The left-handed hitting Rojas was held out of the starting lineup against a left-hander Wednesday, but returned to the lineup Thursday against right-hander Dereck Rodriguez. He's played in all four games since his callup, registering a hit in the first three before Thursday's hitless effort.

Arraez went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI in a 13-6 win over the Rangers on Thursday.

Arraez ignited the Twins' explosive performance with a two-run homer to right field in the second inning and later plated their 13th and final run with a single in the eighth. The multi-hit performance was his sixth in August, pushing his average to .349 (16-for-46) this month. In his rookie season, the 22-year-old is hitting a robust .355 while scoring 34 runs in 55 games.

Joseph went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Thursday's 7-6 win over the Astros.

Joseph swung at the first pitch he saw from Aaron Sanchez in the fourth inning and launched his first major league home run. The 30-year-old, now with his fifth organization, joined the A's on Wednesday in place of Jurickson Profar at second base. Joseph batted .371/.421/.585 with 13 home runs across 425 plate appearances at the Triple-A level this season.

Lowe (lower leg) started at second base for the Gulf Coast League Rays against the Orioles on Thursday and logged four innings while going 0-for-2.

Lowe was able to jump back into game action for the first time since July 2, as his recovery has taken much longer than initially anticipated. Lowe will eventually move his rehab assignment up to a higher level of the minors, but he might need to put in a full game in the field first before that comes to pass. Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports that Lowe will be reevaluated at Tropicana Field on Friday before resuming his rehab assignment Saturday at a to-be-determined minor-league affiliate.

Jackson went 3-for-5 with three homers and five RBI in a victory over Idaho Falls on Thursday.

Jackson, currently the Angels' fifth-ranked prospect, crushed homers in the first, third, and sixth innings. He has now hit 20 long balls in 203 at-bats for rookie-level Orem this season.

Rosario went 4-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored Wednesday in the Mets' 6-4 loss to the Braves.

The 23-year-old slotted into the leadoff spot in place of the injured Jeff McNeil (hamstring) and delivered a quality imitation of the National League's No. 2 ranked hitter in batting average (.332). Rosario will handle the table-setting duties again in Thursday's series finale and could enjoy a temporary spike in his fantasy value with McNeil on the shelf for at least the next week.

Marte is not starting Thursday against the Giants.

Marte has started all 12 games for the Diamondbacks this month, slashing .367/.456/.551 with five extra-base hits (two doubles, two triples and a home run), three steals and a 7:5 BB:K during that stretch. Eduardo Escobar gets the nod at second base in this one, with Jake Lamb starting at third.

Beckham will start at second base and bat ninth Thursday against the Mariners.

He'll crack the lineup for just the second time in eight games as a de facto replacement for shortstop Jordy Mercer, who is receiving a maintenance day. As a 32-year-old on an expiring deal for a club that enters Thursday 45 games under .500, Beckham isn't expected to see an uptick in opportunities in the final few weeks of the season.
