Lowe went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run Thursday against the Red Sox.

Lowe took Mike Kickham yard in the fourth inning, going back-to-back with Hunter Renfroe. He now has 11 home runs on the season, though it was his first since Aug. 26. Overall, Lowe has maintained a .252/.345/.559 line along with 28 runs scored and 29 RBI across 154 plate appearances.

Chavis will see more time in left field, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Chavis played his first game in left field Tuesday, and it went without incident. Between left field and second base, where there will be plenty of opportunities after Boston sent Jose Peraza to the alternate camp, Chavis could get daily appearances. That wasn't the case earlier in the season when Peraza received a greater share of the starts at second.

Lux isn't in Thursday's lineup against the Diamondbacks.

After going 3-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI on Tuesday, Lux went hitless with one RBI and one strikeout over five at-bats Wednesday. He'll get a breather for the series finale as Mookie Betts shifts to second base with Enrique Hernandez starting in right field.

Diaz was recalled from the Marlins' alternate training site Thursday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

He probably won't see regular playing time with Jazz Chisholm and Miguel Rojas handling the bulk of the middle-infield work, but Diaz could see a start here and there down the stretch. Diaz originally opted out of the season but changed his mind and was reinstated earlier this week.

Chavis is not in Thursday's lineup against the Rays, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Chavis' playing-time situation becomes a little murky, as Yairo Munoz is back from a minor hip injury and Christian Arroyo appears to have taken over as the primary second baseman. As one of the team's prominent young position players, it seems likely he will still be in the lineup somewhat regularly going forward, perhaps moving around between left field, second base and first base. Chavis is hitting .222/.256/.250 with zero home runs and one steal over his last 10 games.

Semien is 0-for-8 with one walk and three strikeouts in his first two games back since missing four contests with a side injury.

That tally includes a particularly rough day in Wednesday's win against the Astros, a game in which Semien struck out thrice in five plate appearances. The veteran shortstop was showing some signs of life at the plate prior to his injury, going 7-for-13 with a double, a home run and two RBI in three of the last four games he played before being sidelined.

Garcia (heel) won't return until Friday against Atlanta at the earliest, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

He has dealt with a bruised heel since Sunday. Josh Harrison is starting at second base and batting sixth in his stead.

Albies (wrist) went 3-for-6 with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored Wednesday as the Braves pummeled the Marlins, 29-9.

Wednesday marked Albies' first game back since hitting the injured list Aug. 4 with a right wrist contusion, and he wasted no time making his presence felt, getting the Braves on the board in the second with an RBI groundout. Albies would eventually come up to bat for a second time in the same inning and put an exclamation point on an 11-run frame by teaming up with Adam Duvall for back-to-back home runs. Prior to his stint on the IL, Albies was hitting .159/.196/.273 with a home run, six RBI and 13 strikeouts in 11 games, so he may continue to be slotted in towards the bottom of the batting order until he starts consistently showing he can get on base at a higher clip.

Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday as the Mets defeated the Orioles 7-6.

Gimenez tied the game up with an opposite-field home run in the sixth for just his second long ball of his rookie season. The 22-year-old has hit safely in his last six games and is slashing .292/.340/.427 with two home runs and nine RBI this season. He's also been busy on the basepaths with seven steals.

McNeil went 2-for-3 with a home run, three RBI,a walk and a run scored as he helped lead the Mets to a 7-6 over the Orioles on Wednesday.

McNeil got the Mets on the board in the second with a sharp line-drive RBI single to right and added on two more RBI in the fourth with a home run, his fourth in as many games. The 28-year-old appears to be zoned in at the plate as he's hitting .441/.525/.912 with four home runs and 10 RBI in nine games since September began.
