Lopez went 0-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

Lopez drew a walk and stole second in the eighth inning. He came around to score on an Andrew Benintendi single to put the Royals ahead 2-1. Lopez has yet to show any power -- all seven of his hits this year are singles -- but he's produced a stolen base, two RBI and three runs scored through seven games. He'll continue to log playing time at shortstop until Adalberto Mondesi (oblique) returns.

Merrifield went 2-for-4 with an RBI single, a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

Merrifield knocked in Kyle Isbel with a single in the fifth inning. In the 10th, Merrifield was intentionally walked, then moved to second on an error and executed a double-steal with Andrew Benintendi. Sunday was the first time Merrifield attempted a steal this season -- he went 1-for-2 on the basepaths in this game. The second baseman has added a slash line of .393/.424/.750 with three homers, 10 RBI and five runs scored across 33 plate appearances. As long as he's in a leadoff role, the 32-year-old could provide solid value in all five roto categories.

Rojas is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.

Nick Ahmed's return from the injured list Saturday appears to have closed Rojas' window for everyday playing time. Rojas wasn't able to take advantage of the extra opportunities he received to begin the season, going 2-for-27 with a 3:7 BB:K. He'll likely transition into a utility role for Arizona.

The Giants acquired Estrada from the Yankees on Sunday in exchange for cash considerations, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

San Francisco will add Estrada to its 40-man roster, but the infielder will be optioned to the Giants' alternate site as his new organization looks to get an extended evaluation of him. Estrada had appeared in 61 games for the Yankees across the past two seasons, generating a .214/.267/.348 slash line in 121 plate appearances.

Haggerty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

Haggerty will take a seat after starting four of the Mariners' last five games in the outfield, going 1-for-15 at the dish. Though he's been the primary beneficiary of extra work since Jake Fraley (hamstring) was placed on the injured list, Haggerty may need to show some signs of life offensively to continue earning regular playing time.

The Red Sox optioned Chavis to their taxi squad Sunday.

Chavis' stay on the 26-man roster lasted just one day after J.D. Martinez (illness) -- who was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Saturday -- cleared MLB's health and safety protocols ahead of Sunday's series finale in Baltimore. Since Chavis will still be part of Boston's five-man taxi squad, he could be in store for a call-up during the team's ongoing road trip if the Red Sox require another position player at any point.

Arroyo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Arroyo had started each of the previous four games at second base, recording three hits -- all doubles -- in 17 at-bats over that span. Hunter Renfroe's (general soreness) absence throughout the series in Baltimore has indirectly helped Arroyo pick up playing time, as primary second baseman Enrique Hernandez has been able to make starts in the outfield in place of Renfroe. Assuming Boston is back to full strength for Monday's series opener in Minnesota, however, Arroyo's path to regular work will likely close.

India is out of the lineup Sunday at Arizona.

The 24-year-old started the first eight games of the season but will head to the bench for Sunday's contest. Kyle Farmer will start at second base in place of India for the series finale.

Rosario will start in center field and bat seventh Sunday against the Tigers.

After starting in the outfield in the first two games of the series with lefties (Derek Holland and Tarik Skubal) on the hill for Detroit, Rosario will stick in the lineup for the finale, this time taking on a right-hander (Jose Urena). With a poor .267/.313/.267 slash line through 16 plate appearances this season, Rosario will likely need to show improvement to lock up a full-time role. At least for the time being though, he may have an edge over Jordan Luplow and Ben Gamel for playing time in the outfield.

Kim went 1-for-2 with a home run, a walk, a hit-by-pitch and an additional run scored in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Rangers.

Kim's first career home run off Jordan Lyles tied the game in the fifth inning. The Korean is receiving more playing time in Fernando Tatis Jr.'s (shoulder) absence on the injured list. Kim is getting everyday starts at shortstop to prove why he deserves to be a starter on a major-league roster. Although he is only batting .210 to start the season, he still has at least until April 16 to receive everyday at-bats until Tatis can return.
