Lowe is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Athletics, Adam Berry of MLB.com reports.

The Rays have been facing a slew of left-handed starters of late, but it hasn't routinely cost Lowe playing time. With southpaw Cole Irvin on the hill for Oakland on Wednesday, Lowe will be sitting for only the second time in the last week and a half. That said, Lowe's productivity has taken a hit due to the lefty-heavy schedule. Lowe has gone 4-for-34 while striking out in 27 percent of his plate appearances over his past eight games.

India isn't in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

India will take a seat for a second straight game after he went hitless with three strikeouts in his last five at-bats. Kyle Farmer will start at second base and bat eighth.

Diaz was recalled by the Marlins and is starting Wednesday's game against the Brewers, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.

Diaz was in contention for the starting role at second base during spring training but lost out on the job to Jazz Chisholm. However, he'll now join the major-league roster after Chisholm was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain Wednesday. Diaz is playing second base and batting seventh in Wednesday's series finale against Milwaukee and could be the favorite for playing time at second base in Chisholm's absence. Jose Devers could also see a slight uptick in playing time while Chisholm is sidelined.

Gimenez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Twins, Joe Noga of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

With southpaw J.A. Happ on the hill for Minnesota and a team off day coming Thursday, Cleveland manager Terry Francona determined that Wednesday was a good opportunity to give Gimenez a breather. The young shortstop had started each of the past six games, going 2-for-18 to drop his season average to .192.

Arraez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against Cleveland.

With southpaw Logan Allen on the bump for Cleveland, the lefty-hitting Arraez will take a seat in what amounts to his second day off of the season. Byron Buxton will assume leadoff duties in place of Arraez, who is slashing .284/.372/.351 with one home run, 10 runs and nine RBI across 86 plate appearances on the campaign.

Rojas entered Tuesday's game as a pinch runner and played right field after Kole Calhoun (hamstring) was removed from a 5-1 win over the Padres.

Calhoun came up lame after stealing third base and was pulled from the game. With Pavin Smith already in the game at first base, the Diamondbacks opted for the multi-positional Rojas as a replacement. Calhoun will have an MRI on Wednesday and presumably will miss that night's game at least. Manager Torey Lovullo has a few options in right field should Calhoun require a stay on the injured list. Smith tops the list followed by Rojas and Josh VanMeter.

McNeil went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Red Sox.

He took Garrett Richards deep in the second inning, his second blast of the year, to give the Mets an early lead but the team's offense went cold after that. McNeil has yet to heat up at the plate and is still looking for his first multi-hit game of the season, but he's shown some flickers of life by hitting .237 (9-for-38) over his last 12 games with a homer and two doubles.

Biggio went 3-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Nationals.

Biggio plated a run in the fourth with a sac fly that scored Alejandro Kirk, and this might be the game the third baseman was needing to spark his confidence up. Even though he's now posted two three-hit outings over his last three appearances, he's still hitting just .260 over his last eight games, going hitless six times during that stretch.

India is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Dodgers.

He's hitting .130 with one home run and a 15:5 K:BB over his last 15 games. Alex Blandino draws the start at second base and will bat sixth.

Marte (hamstring) had a recent follow-up MRI that "showed healing," Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

As has been the case since he first got injured, there hasn't been much in the way of detail regarding the severity of Marte's hamstring injury or a timetable for his return, but things at least seem to be moving in the right direction. He took live batting practice last week.
