Edouard Julien 2B | COL
Rockies' Edouard Julien: First homer of 2026
Julien went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a stolen base, two walks and two runs scored Saturday against the Padres.
Julien led off for the sixth consecutive game, and he continues to excel in the role. He has 10 hits across 21 at-bats in that span, driving in five with five runs scored and two stolen bases. While Julien began the season as a bench bat, he should continue to get regular run at second base and designated hitter so long as he remains productive.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Giants' Luis Arraez: Diagnosed with wrist contusion
The Giants announced that Arraez was removed from Saturday's game against the Orioles due to a right wrist contusion, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Arraez was kicked in the right hand by Dylan Beavers while preparing to make a throw to first base in the fourth inning against Baltimore in Saturday. He initially stayed in the game after being looked at by a trainer and even singled in the following frame, but Christian Koss replaced him on defense at second base in the fifth frame. Arraez doesn't appear to be dealing with a serious injury, but it's unclear if he'll be back in the lineup Sunday.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Giants' Luis Arraez: Pulled after kick to hand
Arraez was removed in the bottom of the fifth inning Saturday versus Baltimore due to an apparent right hand injury, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Arraez was involved in a play in the bottom of the fourth frame during which he was kicked in the right hand by Dylan Beavers, who was running to second base on a groundout. Arraez was looked at by a trainer and temporarily remained in the contest, and he singled to right field during his plate appearance in the top of the fifth. However, Christian Koss entered the contest as Arraez's defensive replacement at second base in the bottom of the fifth. The Giants will likely provide an update on Arraez soon.

Nick Gonzales 2B | PIT
Pirates' Nick Gonzales: Sitting down Saturday
Gonzales isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cubs.
An 0-for-3 performance in Friday's contest snapped Gonzales' three-game hitting streak, and he'll now get a day to rest while Brandon Lowe starts at second base and Nick Yorke covers third.

Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Swipes third bag
Stott went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Friday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.
The second baseman swiped his third bag of the year after being hit by a pitch to lead off the sixth inning. Stott has a shaky .179/.238/.205 slash line through 11 games to begin the season, but he appears to be one adjustment at the plate away from going on a tear -- his hard-hit rate of 48.3 percent is by far a career high and almost 20 points better than 2025, but his 4.7 degree launch angle is over 10 degrees lower than last season, leading to a career-high 51.7 percent groundball rate so far.

Brewers' Joey Ortiz: Absent from lineup
Ortiz is not in the Brewers' starting lineup against the Nationals on Friday.
The Brewers will start David Hamilton and Luis Rengifo at shortstop and third base, respectively, for Friday's series opener. Through five games in April, Oritz has gone 3-for-19 (.158) with one steal, two runs scored and five strikeouts.

Brice Turang 2B | MIL
Brewers' Brice Turang: Back in lineup Friday
Turang (ankle) is starting at second base and batting out of the leadoff spot in Friday's game against the Nationals.
Turang was out of the lineup for the Brewers' last two games due to left ankle tendinitis, but he has been cleared to play in Friday's series opener against Washington. Through 10 regular-season games, Turang has gone 10-for-37 (.270) with four steals (five attempts), one home run and seven RBI.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Pirates' Brandon Lowe: Sitting against lefty
Lowe is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Cubs.
With left-hander Shota Imanaga on the mound for the Cubs, Lowe will take a seat. Nick Gonzales is getting the start at second base and batting fifth for Pittsburgh. Lowe is slashing .220/.333/.488 with three home runs, four RBI, four runs scored and a 7:10 BB:K across 48 trips to the plate but is batting just .130 with a .405 OPS over the last seven days.
