Solarte went 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two runs in a 9-8 win against the Diamondbacks on Thursday.

This was a rare offensive outburst for a Padres team that hasn't put a lot of them together, but what offense they have mustered this season has typically run through Solarte and Wil Myers (as well as Matt Kemp, who was traded to Atlanta at the deadline). Solarte continues to enjoy the best batting average of his three-year career (.290) and remains just one shy of last season's 14 homers.

Elmore is hitting just .178 on the year with three RBI over 60 plate appearances.

He has been unable to have consistent success as he only has one hit in his last 15 at-bats. He'll continue to find limited playing time as he serves as a backup to Ryan Braun.

Frazier went 4-for-5 with a pair of runs scored Sunday against the Dodgers.

After going nine days between starts, Frazier followed up his start at second base Saturday with a start in left field Sunday. His playing time is sporadic but his .300-plus batting average is no surprise -- he holds a .299 mark in four minor league seasons.

Drury is out of the lineup Saturday against the Red Sox.

Drury was seeing regular playing time in left field while Yasmany Tomas was out with a neck issue, but now that Tomas is back, Drury's playing time should decrease somewhat. He is slashing .256/.302/.416 with 10 home runs in 344 plate appearances this year and has really cooled off since a hot start.

Espinosa is not in the starting lineup for the Nationals on Friday, Chase Hughes of CSN Mid-Atlantic reports.

Espinosa has continued to struggle at the plate over his last 10 games, hitting just .194 with 12 strikeouts in his last 36 at-bats. He will likely rejoin the starting lineup on Saturday when the Nationals host Rob Whalen and the Braves.

Drury is in the lineup Tuesday against the Mets.

After Yasmany Tomas was scratched from the lineup, Drury got the nod to start in right field. Drury will be batting fifth as Arizona takes on Steven Matz and the Mets.

Herrera has sat out the last few games for Triple-A Louisville due to general soreness, Zach Buchanan from the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Herrera and Jose Peraza were both sent down after the trade deadline ostensibly to play together up the middle, so this is a setback. He was available to pinch-run Sunday night.

Rodgers, 19, is batting .277/.341/.464 with 14 home runs, 55 RBI and four steals through 88 games for Low-A Asheville.

Rodgers, who will turn 20 years old next week, has more than held his own in his first crack at full-season ball. He only just appears to be scratching the surface of his potential, but the power in his bat is already evident. He also has two steals in his last five contests, and the added element of speed would only further boost his future fantasy outlook.

Tomlinson is batting .405 (15-for-37) with eight runs and two stolen bases over his last 10 games with Triple-A Sacramento.

Tomlinson was sent to the minors for a rehab assignment after injuring his thumb in July, but with the Giants opting to only have a four-man bench, he has stayed in the minors ever since. Two of the team's four bench bats at the major league level are infielders, so it is unlikely that Tomlinson will be called up to serve in a backup infield role. However, Tomlinson has played six games in the outfield this season, making him a possible option to be called up if the Giants opt to go with a more traditional five-man bench.

Solarte went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer, three RBI and four runs in a 12-3 victory over the Brewers on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old was 5-for-14 (.357) with five RBI and five runs in the series versus Milwaukee. He is slashing .294/.356/.508 with 11 homers, 45 RBI and 35 runs in 238 at-bats this season.
