  • Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Not in Sunday's lineup

Solarte (hamstring) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rockies.

Solarte had to exit Saturday's contest early due to a right hamstring injury, and it appears the same ailment will force him to miss the Sunday afternoon matchup. Look for a report on the status of Solarte in the near future, while in the meantime, Adam Rosales will take over at the hot corner. Consider Solarte questionable for Monday's series opener against the Phillies.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Has two hits from leadoff spot Saturday

Hernandez went 2-for-3 with a double and run scored in Saturday's 3-2 extra-inning victory over the Giants.

Hernandez notched the start at second base and took Chase Utley's leadoff spot for the day due to the presence of southpaw Madison Bumgarner on the hill. Hernandez now has three hits in his two starting opportunities, and is hitting .364 through his first 11 at-bats of the new season. He figures to continue receiving periodic starts against left-handed pitching.

  • Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Injures hamstring

Solarte's injury that forced him to leave Saturday night's game against the Rockies is to his right hamstring.

Solarte, who pulled up lame while legging out a single Saturday. was replaced in the lineup by Adam Rosales. San Diego's starting third baseman has been one of the team's better hitters early on, going 6-for-16.

  • Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Suffers leg injury against Rockies

Solarte suffered an apparent leg injury against the Rockies on Saturday, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Solarte was replaced in the lineup by Adam Rosales. The severity of Solarte's leg injury has yet to be determined, but it's possible he'll need some time of the disabled list.

  • Diamondbacks' Brandon Drury: Back in lineup Saturday

Drury is back in the lineup Saturday and will bat seventh in the order against the Cubs.

Jake Lamb is surprisingly out of the order Saturday as the Diamondbacks face right-hander Kyle Hendricks. Drury, a right-hander, will take his place at third base Saturday. In his one other start this season, Drury went 1-for-4 with a strikeout.

  • Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: In the lineup Saturday

Tomlinson is in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers, batting seventh.

The Dodgers will have ace lefty Clayton Kershaw on the hill Saturday, leaving Bruce Bochy to use a right-handed-heavy lineup. Tomlinson will place Joe Panik to make his first start of the season Saturday. Despite having a perceived platoon edge as a right-handed hitter, Tomlinson is 0-for-6 with three strikeouts and a walk lifetime against Kershaw.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Batting leadoff Saturday

Hernandez is leading off Saturday and playing second base.

The Dodgers will feature a righty-heavy lineup Saturday to try to gain an edge on San Francisco's southpaw ace, Madison Bumgarner. With that, Hernandez will take Chase Utley's spot at the top of the order. Hernandez, though in a small sample size, is one of the few players in the majors to have success against Bumgarner, having gone 5-for-10 with a home run off him.

  • Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Drives in four as Padres romp

Solarte was 3-for-5 with a walk and four RBI as San Diego drubbed the Rockies on Friday evening.

The Padres offense will likely be hit and miss most of the season - they had been held scoreless for 30 innings prior to this outburst in Coors Field - but Solarte could enjoy relative productivity hitting every day in the middle of their order. He typically hits fifth behind Matt Kemp and Wil Myers so there should be a few RBI opportunities.

  • Gordon Beckham 2B | SEA

Braves' Gordon Beckham: In the lineup Friday

Beckham is in the starting lineup Friday against the Cardinals, batting eighth in the order as the Braves' second baseman.

Beckham will be making his first start of the season as he takes over at second base for Jace Peterson. As a right-handed hitter, he'll have a platoon advantage Friday when the Braves face Jaime Garcia. That said, Beckham has not had much success at the dish of late regardless of the pitcher and, as the number eight hitter in a weaker lineup, he's not the most appealing fantasy option Friday.

  • Dilson Herrera 2B | CIN

Mets' Dilson Herrera: Limited to DH

Herrera will be limited to the designated hitter role for the time being with Triple-A Las Vegas due to a shoulder issue, Adam Rubin of ESPN.com reports.

Herrera didn't show any signs of structural damage to the shoulder after getting an MRI done near the end of spring training, but the Mets are being cautious with one of their better young hitters. The 22-year-old will try to build off a fantastic 2015 season in Triple-A where he posted a .327/.382/.511 line with 11 home runs, 50 RBI, and 13 stolen bases.
