Darnell Sweeney 2B | TOR
Reds' Darnell Sweeney: Dealt to Reds
Sweeney was traded to the Reds on Sunday in exchange for future considerations, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
The utility man hasn't seen any big-league action in the last two years after hitting just .176 across 85 at-bats with Philadelphia in 2015. Sweeney will likely report to Triple-A Louisville, where he'll be looking to improve upon the .227 average, 15 RBI and seven stolen bases he put up in 38 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City this season.

Giants' Christian Arroyo: Planned rest continues
As expected, Arroyo is out of the lineup Sunday against the Braves, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Arroyo sat out Saturday as well, and manager Bruce Bochy later announced that the infielder was receiving scheduled days off. That break will continue into Sunday, when Eduardo Nunez will draw the start at first base.

Giants' Christian Arroyo: Gets scheduled rest
Manager Bruce Bochy said Arroyo will get at least two days off, Alec Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Arroyo has endured a tough month at the plate thus far -- slashing just .180/.245/.258 across 24 games (98 plate appearances) -- prompting Bochy to give the youngster at least a couple days to catch his breath, clear his mind and work on some things. Look for Arroyo to rejoin the Giants lineup for Monday's series opener against the Nationals.

Giants' Christian Arroyo: Takes seat Saturday
Arroyo is not in the lineup Saturday against the Braves, John Shea of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Arroyo is in the midst of an 0-for-19 slump over his last five games, so he'll head to the bench to clear his mind as Aaron Hill takes over at third base.

Giants' Christian Arroyo: Avoids demotion to minors
Arroyo was not optioned to the minors when Aaron Hill (forearm) was activated off the disabled list Friday.
There were rumblings of a possible demotion for the struggling rookie (.186/.236/.297), but it appears that he will remain in the majors to work out of his slump. It is unclear if Hill's return will eat into Arroyo's playing time, but the team is unlikely to keep him on the bench often as it could delay his development. The 21-year-old will have to show some life at the plate to avoid a demotion when Hunter Pence (hamstring) returns from the disabled list as early as next weekend, so he isn't out of the woods quite yet.

Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Heads to bench Thursday
Forsythe is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cardinals.
Enrique Hernandez will take over at third base in place of Forsythe, who is 1-for-8 with five strikeouts since returning from a fractured toe. Still, Forsythe figures to be a staple in the Dodgers lineup now that he's healthy. Look for Forsythe to draw back in for Friday's series opener against the Cubs.

Rockies' Forrest Wall: Out for season with dislocated shoulder
Wall is out for the rest of the season after dislocating his left (non-throwing) shoulder in a game for High-A Lancaster earlier this month, Bobby DeMuro of BaseballCensus.com reports.
It is now clear why Wall has not played since May 2. On the surface, it appeared that he was really playing well in a repeat run at High-A, slashing .299/.361/.471 with three home runs and five steals (on eight attempts) in 87 at-bats. However, the fact that he was slashing just .222/.237/.444 away from the extremely hitter-friendly conditions at Lancaster suggests that his surface numbers may not truly indicate how well he was playing prior to the injury.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Stays hot with three-run blast
Frazier went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run during Thursday's win over Atlanta.
Frazier is 20-for-48 through 13 games since being activated from the disabled list and has two home runs, 13 RBI, two stolen bases and 11 runs during that stretch. He doesn't profile as a power threat after posting an underwhelming .411 slugging percentage with just two long flies over 160 plate appearances last year. However, Frazier is locked into the leadoff spot right now, and he's currently sporting a .446 on-base percentage. There is a lot of room for statistical decline before he's no longer a serviceable fantasy asset.

Giants' Christian Arroyo: Team weighing minors stint
The Giants are deciding whether they want to keep Arroyo in the majors while he works through his current slump, Alex Pavlovic of CSN Bay Area reports.
The infielder is 0-for-13 in his last three games and has steadily eroded at the plate in May (.193/.261/.277 in 22 contests). Manager Bruce Bochy said Arroyo facing major-league pitching is crucial for his development, but the organization remains undecided. Arroyo may only have a few more days to prove he's still worth a spot with the Giants while working through his issues. He's batting eighth and playing third base Thursday as a result of Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) being a late scratch.

Giants' Christian Arroyo: Slides back into lineup Thursday
Arroyo was placed back in the Giants' Thursday lineup after Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) was scratched, Andrew Baggarly of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Arroyo was originally given a break to help him clear his head during a slump, but Nunez's hamstring injury continues to bug him, so Arroyo's day off is cut short. He'll square up against the Cubs' Eddie Butler to try to right his season (.196/.248/.313 in 121 plate appearances).
