Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Back in action Thursday
Albies (hamstring) is starting at second base and hitting second Thursday against the Dodgers.
The dynamic second baseman missed four games with the hamstring injury, but owners who rolled him out in weekly leagues will be rewarded, as he now figures to be available for this entire four-game series at home against Los Angeles. Albies is hitting .333 with three home runs and three steals in 57 at-bats this month.

Dilson Herrera 2B | CIN
Reds' Dilson Herrera: Outfield time unlikely
Herrera is unlikely to get playing time in the outfield even with Scott Schebler on the DL and Jesse Winker hurting, MLB.com's Mark Sheldon reports.
Herrera did play three innings in left field in a blowout game against the Indians earlier this month, hence the speculation. "I'm not totally confident Herrera is going to be an outfielder for us," interim manager Jim Riggleman said. Phillip Ervin and Brandon Dixon are ahead of Herrera, defensively.

Pirates' Chris Bostick: Returns from appendectomy
Bostick (appendectomy) was reinstated from the 7-day disabled list at Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Recalled from minors
Frazier was called up from Triple-A Indianapolis on Wednesday.
Frazier will provide extra depth as a utility man after spending the past month in the minors. Across 58 games with the Pirates this year, Frazier has slashed .239/.323/.355 with three home runs and eight RBI. In a corresponding move, the club sent Casey Sadler to Indianapolis.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Third straight leadoff assignment
Rosario will start at shortstop and man the leadoff spot for the Mets in Wednesday's game against the Padres, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
The Padres have brought southpaw starters to the hill for each of the three games of the series, so the lefty-hitting Brandon Nimmo has moved down in the order to open up the table-setting role for the righty-hitting Rosario. The 22-year-old has fared well in that capacity over the first two games against San Diego, going 2-for-8 with a triple, walk, stolen base and three runs. Rosario will likely drop to the bottom third of the lineup when the Mets oppose righties.

Kelby Tomlinson 2B | SF
Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: Two hits, triple in win
Tomlinson went 2-for-3 with a triple, RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Mariners.
Tomlinson nabbed the three-bagger in his first at-bat, then later knocked in a run on a two-out single. The 28-year-old is now 2-for-7 over three starts since being recalled from Triple-A Sacramento just before the All-Star break and will likely continue to play only sporadically while with the major-league team.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Set for debut
McNeill was called up by the Mets on Tuesday, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
The 26-year-old was a 12th-round pick back in 2013 and has yet to make his big-league debut. He's been primarily a second baseman in the minors but has also played some third base and left field. He's had a breakout season at the plate this year, hitting .324/.411/.617 with Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Las Vegas, and could be given a chance to carve out a significant role in the Mets' infield down the stretch.

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: On track for return Thursday
Albies (hamstring) is expected to return to the lineup for Thursday's game against the Dodgers, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
Albies will remain out of the starting nine for both games in Miami but doesn't appear to be a candidate for the 10-day disabled list after suffering a right hamstring injury Friday. Charlie Culberson is set to man the keystone in his absence.
