Marlins' Isan Diaz: Heads to bench Saturday
Diaz is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
This is a tough break for those who started Diaz this weekend hoping for three games at Coors Field. Diaz went 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in the series opener and is now batting .179 (7-for-39) in 10 games since homering in his big-league debut. Starlin Castro will shift back to second base to cover for Diaz, opening up third base for Neil Walker.

Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Ends 50-game on-base streak
Lux went 0-for-4 against Triple-A Round Rock on Friday, ending a streak of 50 consecutive games in which he reached base.
Prior to Friday, the last game in which Lux did not reach base took place on June 8 while he was still playing Double-A ball. During the impressive streak, Lux hit .417 with 13 homers and 41 RBI between 37 games with Oklahoma City and 13 with Tulsa. The Dodgers' No. 1 prospect is expected to spend time with the big club when rosters expand in September, though he may not be added to the active roster.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Padres' Luis Urias: Hitless out of leadoff spot
Urias went 0-for-4 in Friday's loss to the Phillies.
The 22-year-old was batting leadoff in the absence of Fernando Tatis Jr. (back), which Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune described as "the new normal" with Tatis likely done for the season. Even with the 0-fer, Urias is still batting .314/.442/.400 in August. He has shifted over to shortstop, opening up second base for Ty France.

Hernandez (hand) is expected to be activated from the injured list by the middle of next week, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Crosses plate four times in win
Rosario went 5-for-6 with two doubles, a triple, four runs scored and an RBI in Thursday's win over Atlanta.
The shortstop has exploded in August, collecting nine hits in his last two games and slashing .383/.393/.533 through 13 games on the month. The 23-year-old only has one homer, two steals, three RBI and 10 runs during that stretch, but with Jeff McNeil (hamstring) on the shelf, Rosario is getting a look in the leadoff spot for the Mets -- an assignment that should come with more opportunities to produce fantasy value.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Returns to lineup

The left-handed hitting Rojas was held out of the starting lineup against a left-hander Wednesday, but returned to the lineup Thursday against right-hander Dereck Rodriguez. He's played in all four games since his callup, registering a hit in the first three before Thursday's hitless effort.
