    Rojas was removed from Sunday's game against the Astros with lower back discomfort, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

    Rojas was replaced defensively in the bottom of the sixth inning, and the team revealed after the game that he was dealing with lower back discomfort. He's currently considered day-to-day.

    Nationals' Luis Garcia: Sitting Game 2

    Garcia is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Marlins.

    Garcia went 2-for-3 during the matinee and will take a seat for Game 2 with lefty Braxton Garrett starting for Miami. Josh Harrison will start at the keystone in Game 2.

    Hoerner is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.

    Hoerner will retreat to the bench after starting in six of the Cubs' last eight games. He went 4-for-17 over that stretch, bringing his season-long slash line to .235/.313/.276 in 112 plate appearances. Jason Kipnis will spell Hoerner at the keystone in the series finale.

    Braves' Ozzie Albies: Swats two homers in win

    Albies went 2-for-5 with two home runs, three RBI and two runs scored in a 15-2 win over the Mets on Friday.

    Albies capped off a six-run fourth inning with a two-run blast that barely cleared the wall in left to put the Braves up 12-0. Later in the sixth, he hit his second one and the sixth overall of the night by the Braves to extend their lead to 13-1. Since returning from the injured list Sept 9, Albies is hitting .378/.410/.757 with four home runs, eight RBI and 10 runs scored after struggling mightily to begin the season. He'll look to stay hot as the Braves continue to fight for playoff positioning before the regular season concludes at the end of the month.

    Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Lifts third homer

    Lux went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Friday's 15-6 win over the Rockies.

    Lux gave the Dodgers a 4-0 lead in the second inning with his two-run blast off Rockies starter Ryan Castellani. In the seventh, Lux got aboard on a fielder's choice and came around to score on a Mookie Betts triple. The homer was Lux's third of the year to go with eight RBI, eight runs scored and a stolen base in 14 contests. He was able to snap a 0-for-14 dry spell he had over his previous four games.

    Garcia isn't in the lineup for Game 2 of Friday's doubleheader against the Marlins.

    Garcia was dominant in Friday's matinee as he went 2-for-3 with a double and two runs in the win. He'll take a breather for the second game as Josh Harrison takes over at second base.

    Pirates' Adam Frazier: On bench for Game 2

    Frazier isn't in the lineup for the second game of Friday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

    Frazier went 0-for-1 with three walks and two runs during the first game of the doubleheader, but he'll take a seat for the nightcap. Bryan Reynolds will shift to left field with Jason Martin starting in center.

    Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Nearly ready for batting practice

    Marte (wriste) will take batting practice Saturday and has a shot to return during the final week of the season, Zach Buchanan of The Athletic reports.

    Marte's required 10 days on the injured list with left wrist inflammation elapsed Friday, though it looks like he still needs a few more days to heal. When exactly the Diamondbacks expect to activate him remains unclear.
