Lux (knee) posted a video Tuesday on his personal Instagram account featuring him running on a treadmill.

Lux's video confirms that he's begun a running program about three and a half months after he underwent surgery to repair ACL and LCL tears in his right knee. The Dodgers still don't appear to be counting on Lux returning from the 60-day injured list at any point this season, but if he steers clear of any setbacks while ramping up the intensity of his running over the next several months, he could enter spring training with a clean bill of health.

Gorman is out of the lineup Tuesday versus the Nationals.

Willson Contreras will take a DH day and Andrew Knizner will catch with left-hander MacKenzie Gore on the bump for Washington. Gorman was a force in the St. Louis lineup over the first two months of the season, but he's slashing just .063/.135/.125 in his last 52 plate appearances dating back to June 4.

Arraez went 5-for-5 with two RBI and one run scored in Monday's victory over the Blue Jays.

Arraez got the day off Sunday and returned to the lineup Monday with another stellar performance. It was his second five-hit game over his past three starts and third of the season. He remains on a historic pace to start 2023, slashing .400/.450/.490 over 67 games (282 plate appearances).

Kim went 3-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in a 7-4 extra-inning loss to San Francisco on Monday.

Kim came through with a two-run single in the fourth inning and finished with his second three-hit performance of the campaign. The second baseman also swiped his 12th bag in the contest, giving him as many thefts in 68 games this season as he had in 150 contests last year. Kim has three multi-hit performance over his past five games and is batting .533 (8-for-15) over that stretch.

Urias is not in the starting lineup Monday against Arizona.

Urias will get a day off after he went 2-for-10 with two RBI and a run scored while starting all three games of the team's series with the Pirates. Brian Anderson will slot in at third base while Raimel Tapia draws the start in right field and bats sixth in the series opener with the Diamondbacks.

Bae will sit Monday versus the Cubs.

Bae will head to the bench as the Pirates square off with left-hander Drew Smyly on the mound Monday. Rodolfo Castro will take over at second base and bat sixth in the series opener with Chicago.

Castro is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds.

With lefty Brandon Williamson on the bump for Cincinnati, the lefty-hitting Castro will take a seat for the series opener. Coco Montes will fill in at second base for Castro, who still appears to have a hold on a strong-side platoon role.

Rojas was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Monday.

Rojas' season batting line had fallen to .235/.301/.306 and he had started only four of his team's last nine games. The Diamondbacks have ultimately decided it would be best for him to work through his struggles in the minors. Emmanuel Rivera has cooled off recently but could be in line for the bulk of the starts at third base, with Evan Longoria also in the mix.

The Pirates optioned Mathias to Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday.

Mathias has managed a meager .624 OPS across 22 games with the Pirates this season. He'll move off the 26-man active roster as the Pirates clear a spot for top prospect Henry Davis, who will make his MLB debut Monday versus the Cubs.

Rodgers (shoulder) is slated to begin hitting drills this week, MLB.com reports.

Rodgers will hit softer practice balls in the batting cage as he slowly ramps things up following surgery during spring training to repair the labrum in his left (non-throwing) shoulder. He's also fielded some grounders and done some running drills. He still has a long way to go, but the hope is Rodgers might be able to return sometime in August.
