Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Blue Jays' Brandon Drury: Dealt to Toronto
Drury (hand) was traded to the Blue Jays along with Billy McKinney in exchange for J.A. Happ on Thursday, Mark Feinsand of MLB.com reports.
Drury is on the move once again after being traded to the Yankees this past offseason. The infielder has had a rocky year up to this point, mostly due to impaired vision that cost him time and his role with the big-league club in early April. Across 18 games with New York, he slashed .176/.263/.275 with seven RBI. He's currently dealing with a bruised left hand that he suffered during Tuesday's game. Moving forward, Drury will likely be utilized as a reserve infielder for the Blue Jays.

Forrest Wall LF | SD
Blue Jays' Forrest Wall: Dealt to Blue Jays
Wall was traded to Toronto alongside Chad Spanberger and a player to be named later in exchange for Seung Hwan Oh on Wednesday.
Across 93 games at the High- and Double-A levels within the Rockies' system this season, Wall slashed .260/.340/.410 with nine home runs, 31 RBI and 28 stolen bases. The speedy 22-year-old has spent most of 2018 continuing to transition to a role in center field after beginning his career as a second baseman. Since being promoted to Double-A Hartford in late May, he's hit for a .206 average with a .648 OPS, so look for Toronto to keep him at that level upon his arrival.

Astros' Jose Altuve: Considered day-to-day with knee discomfort
Altuve is considered day-to-day with knee discomfort, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic Houston reports.
The issue which caused him to leave Wednesday's contest against the Rockies is apparently one which has been bothering him for a few days. The Astros have an off day Thursday and hope that their star second baseman could return Friday against the Rangers.

Gleyber Torres 2B | DET
Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Activated and in lineup
The Yankees activated Torres (hip) from the 10-day disabled list Wednesday. He'll start at second base and bat fifth in the Yankees' series finale against the Rays, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
Torres was sidelined for the past three weeks with a strained right hip, but proved his health by going 3-for-9 with a pair of walks over his three-game rehab assignment at High-A Tampa. The rookie should ease back into a full-time role at the keystone right away for the Yankees, resulting in more limited at-bats for the likes of Neil Walker and Brandon Drury (hand).

Elvis Andrus 2B | ARI
Rangers' Elvis Andrus: Hits first career grand slam
Andrus went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, two runs and five RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Athletics.
Andrus connected for his first career grand slam in the sixth inning off reliever J.B. Wendelken. Andrus is now hitting .268 with four home runs, nine doubles and 16 RBI in 41 games this season. The 29-year-old is ridding a modest six-game hitting streak and has hit the ball out of the park in back-to-back games.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Athletics' Marcus Semien: Drives in three against Rangers
Semien went 1-for-6 with a double, two runs and three RBI in Tuesday's win over the Rangers.
Semien hit a two-run double in the seventh inning and then secured another RBI in the eighth on a force attempt. Semien is having a decent July, hitting .268 with seven doubles, seven RBI, 10 walks and 10 runs scored in 18 games. His power numbers are down from years prior but his 56 runs this season are tied for fifth among all MLB shortstops.

Taylor Motter 2B | STL
Twins' Taylor Motter: DFA'd by Twins
Motter was designated for assignment by the Twins following Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays, Phil Miller of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Motter was recalled from Triple-A Rochester on Friday, but the Twins needed to make a move to clear space on the 40- and 25-man rosters for the return of Ervin Santana (finger) from the 60-day disabled list. Motter was claimed by the Twins in late May after being designated for assignment by the Mariners.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Yankees' Brandon Drury: Dealing with hand bruise
Drury was diagnosed with a left hand bruise after X-rays came back negative Tuesday, Marc Carig of The Athletic New York reports.
Drury exited Tuesday's game against the Rays after being hit by a pitch on the left hand. The severity of the bruise remains unclear at this point, but it wouldn't be surprising if the 25-year-old were held out of the lineup for a couple of days at least.
