Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Yankees' Thairo Estrada: Returns from hamstring injury
Estrada (hamstring) was activated off the 10-day injured list Sunday.
Estrada played a couple of minor-league rehab games over the weekend and will rejoin the big-league club after spending the last three weeks on the shelf with the hamstring strain. The 23-year-old has a .739 OPS in 61 plate appearances this season and figures to serve as a utility option off the bench.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Athletics' Marcus Semien: Laces seventh triple
Semien went 1-for-4 with a two-run triple with a walk and a run in a win over the Tigers on Saturday.
Semien began the Athletics' onslaught in earnest with his fourth-inning three-bagger that plated Seth Brown and Ramon Laureano. The slugging shortstop has now equaled a career high with seven triples, while his pair of RBI carried him to a new career-best total (77).

Cavan Biggio RF | HOU
Blue Jays' Cavan Biggio: Not starting Sunday
Biggio is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Tampa Bay.
Biggio will hit the bench for the second time in the series as he is 1-for-16 with nine strikeouts in his last five games. Richard Urena receives the start at the keystone and will bat ninth in his stead.

Elvis Andrus 2B | ARI
Rangers' Elvis Andrus: Takes seat Sunday
Andrus is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles.
He'll take a seat for the day game after going 3-for-13 with a walk, two RBI and two runs in the first three games of the series in Baltimore. With the Rangers sitting at 71-73 heading into Sunday and out of the mix for a playoff spot, it wouldn't be surprising if Andrus were rested once a week for the rest of the season.

Harold Castro 2B | KC
Tigers' Harold Castro: Collects four hits Saturday
Castro went 4-for-5 with two RBI in Saturday's 10-2 loss to the Athletics.
As has often been the case this season, Castro showed good contact skills at the plate with little power, as all four of his hits were singles. The 25-year-old batted first in this one, and he could get more looks in the leadoff spot given his style of play.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Making progress
Lowe (quadriceps) has been making progress and could potentially return this season, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Lowe had been ruled out for the season in late August, but the Rays are now not sure whether he could still make it back at some point. If his progress continues, he'll face live pitching soon, at which point the Rays will likely make a decision on his timeline.

Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Rangers' Logan Forsythe: Sitting again Saturday
Forsythe is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Orioles.
Forsythe appears to have fallen into a platoon. Ronald Guzman starts at first base against righties like Saturday's starter Aaron Brooks while Forsythe gets the call against lefties.

Elvis Andrus 2B | ARI
Rangers' Elvis Andrus: Drives in two
Andrus went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Friday's 7-6 win over the Orioles.
Andrus entered the game with just three RBI over his past 19 games and has been a tepid hitter over the second half. The shortstop is slugging just .307 since the All-Star break.
