Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Steals late base in loss
Torres went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in a 4-3 loss to the Marlins on Friday.
Torres got on base for the first time with a walk to open the bottom of the 10th inning and would later steal second, but he did not score. The 23-year-old is hitting .242/.359/.371 with three home runs, 16 RBI and 17 runs scored in 41 games this season.

Luis Rengifo 3B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Suffers hamstring injury
Rengifo suffered a right hamstring strain during Friday's game against the Dodgers.
Rengifo was removed from Friday's contest in the seventh inning after hitting a single. With just two games remaining in the regular season, it's unclear whether Rengifo will return in 2020.

Whit Merrifield 2B | ATL
Royals' Whit Merrifield: Notches 12th steal
Merrifield went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 3-2 win over the Tigers.
Merrifield and fellow speedster Adalberto Mondesi pulled off a double-steal in the first inning. This put Merrifield in position to score when Ryan O'Hearn drew a bases-loaded walk. The steal was Merrifield's 12th of the year, to go with nine homers, 30 RBI, 36 runs scored and a .280/.324/.439 slash line in 58 contests.

Luis Rengifo 3B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Exits with apparent injury
Rengifo left Friday's game against the Dodgers with an apparent injury, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Rengifo logged a single in the top of the seventh inning Friday, but he exited the game with a trainer after reaching base. The nature and severity of the issue aren't yet clear. Elliot Soto replaced Rengifo on Friday and could fill in over the final two games of the regular season if Rengifo is sidelined.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Twins' Luis Arraez: Testing ankle
Arraez (knee/ankle) will test his ankle by running on the field and swinging in a batting cage Friday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Arraez suffered an ankle sprain earlier in the week while recovering from knee tendinitis, an injury that sent him to the injured list in mid-September. He's not yet at 100 percent, so he may not make it back before the regular season ends Sunday, but his return doesn't appear to be too far off.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Not in lineup
Lowe is not starting Friday against the Phillies, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Lowe sits for the first time in the month of September. This appears to be nothing more than a routine day off, as he's hitting .340/.410/.604 over his last 15 contests. Joey Wendle will be the second baseman in his absence.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Swats fourth homer
Altuve went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run, a double and another run scored during Thursday's win over the Rangers.
Altuve extended Houston's lead with a three-run homer against Lance Lynn in the sixth inning. It was just the fourth home run of the year for the 30-year-old, who has turned in quite the disappointing season compared to his 2019 campaign. Overall, he's batting .225/.288/.341.

Cavan Biggio RF | HOU
Blue Jays' Cavan Biggio: Scores three times in rout
Biggio went 2-for-5 with a double, a walk, three runs and two RBI in Wednesday's 14-1 win over the Blue Jays.
The Toronto offense has been on a heater since Sunday, and Biggio -- the team's leadoff hitter -- has been one of the main beneficiaries over the last four games. After failing to score in a stretch of 11 consecutive games, Biggio has now crossed home seven times so far during the final week of the regular season. With a .796 OPS to go with seven home runs and six steals during the abbreviated campaign, Biggio has essentially replicated the numbers he posted as a rookie on a per-plate appearance basis. He's also made 31 starts at second base, 14 in the outfield and seven at third base, so he could have a chance at carrying eligibility at three positions in some fantasy leagues heading into 2021.
