    Arauz will be part of the Red Sox's wild-card roster, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

    Arauz will give the team added infield depth, though the Red Sox probably hope he doesn't wind up playing a significant role. In 155 career plate appearances across the last two seasons, he's hit just .219/.301/.343.

    Mayfield went 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and two stolen bases in Sunday's 7-3 victory versus the Mariners.

    Mayfield was one of three Angels to knock multiple hits in the season finale, and he plated the team's second run with an infield single in the first inning. The 31-year-old began the campaign in the minors and was DFA'd by both the Angels and Mariners during the season. However, he became a bright spot for Los Angeles after he latched back on with the club in mid-June, eventually claiming a role as the club's starting third baseman. Mayfield collected at least one hit in 11 of his final 12 contests, slashing .280/.315/.400 with a home run, 11 RBI and three stolen bases over that stretch.

    Rosario went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 6-0 win over Texas.

    The 25-year-old finished off a productive year with an RBI single to plate Myles Straw in the first inning. Rosario also walked and scored on a wild pitch in the third. He cemented himself as Cleveland's everyday shortstop in 2021 with a solid .282/.321/.409 slash line, 11 home runs, 13 stolen bases, 57 RBI and 77 runs scored across 141 games. He went 11-for-34 (.324) across his last eight games after returning from a personal matter.

    Polanco went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Royals.

    The Twins had plenty of success at the plate in the first inning Sunday, and Polanco put the team on the board with his three-run blast with no outs in the frame. The 28-year-old closed out the year with hits in eight of his last 10 appearances, and he slashed .269/.323/.503 with 33 home runs, 98 RBI, 97 runs and 11 stolen bases during the 2021 campaign.

    Athletics' Tony Kemp: Homers in final game

    Kemp went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's 7-6 loss to the Astros.

    Kemp hit a solo home run off Jose Urquidy in the third inning, giving Oakland the lead. He went 15-for-32 in his last nine games to finish off the season. The 29-year-old finished with a .279/.382/.418 slash line, including eight long balls, 37 RBI and 54 runs scored in 397 plate appearances.

    Rays' Brandon Lowe: Powers rout with three homers

    Lowe went 3-for-5 with three home runs and seven RBI in Saturday's 12-2 win over the Yankees.

    He got the rout started quickly with a three-run blast off Jordan Montgomery in the first inning, then took the Yankees southpaw deep again for another three-run shot in the third before capping his afternoon with a solo homer off Michael King in the seventh. Lowe came into 2021 with 37 career home runs in 181 games, and he's now topped that total with 39 in 148 contests this season. He'll look for No. 40 on the final day of the season.

    The shortstop has hit safely in 24 of his last 26 games, posting a scorching .352/.388/.463 slash line in that span. Lopez has finished strong in an impressive and unexpectedly successful 2021. He owns a .301/.366/.380 line with 22 stolen bases, two home runs, 43 RBI, 78 runs scored and six triples through 149 contests overall as Kansas City's everyday No. 2 hitter.
