Cooper (wrist) will begin a rehab assignment at Single-A Jupiter on Saturday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
Cooper's recent move to the injured was backdated to Sunday, so he's eligible to rejoin the Marlins as early as Aug. 3. The 31-year-old seems to be trending toward a fairly minimal absence since he's already been cleared to return to game action.

Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Not starting Saturday
Mountcastle isn't starting Saturday against the Reds, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
Mountcastle has hit just .065 with three RBI and a run over eight games since the All-Star break, and he'll have a chance to reset Saturday. Trey Mancini is shifting to first base while Terrin Vavra serves as the designated hitter.

Guardians' Josh Naylor: Scratched with right ankle soreness
Naylor was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Rays due to right ankle soreness, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
Naylor sat out Friday against Tampa Bay and is apparently dealing with an ankle injury that will keep him out of the lineup for a second consecutive game. Whether he's available off the bench remains to be seen, but Owen Miller will take his place at first base and bat cleanup.

Pratto isn't starting Saturday against the Yankees, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.
Pratto started the last two games and went 1-for-6 with a triple, two walks and three strikeouts. Vinnie Pasquantino will man first base while Maikel Garcia stays in the lineup at shortstop for a third straight game.

Phillies' Rhys Hoskins: Mashes game-winning homer
Hoskins went 4-for-4 with a walk, a home run and three RBI in Friday's 4-2 extra-inning win over the Pirates.
After driving in a run with a single in the seventh inning to tie the game at 2-2, Hoskins gave the Phillies the lead with a two-run blast off Duane Underwood in the top of the 10th. The long ball was his 20th of the season -- the fourth time in his six-year career he's reached that mark -- and Hoskins is batting .308 (12-for-39) over his last 10 games to boost his slash line on the season to .253/.342/.481.

Flores went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and a double in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Cubs.
Flores accounted for all of the Giants' run production with a ninth-inning blast. This was his first multi-hit performance since July 11 -- in 14 games between those efforts, he hit just .182 with five extra-base hits. The infielder has a .248/.329/.448 slash line with 15 homers, 55 RBI, 53 runs scored and 20 doubles through 95 contests.

Voit went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, three RBI and two total runs scored in Friday's 10-1 win over the Twins.
This was Voit's fourth multi-hit effort in July. His two-run homer in the first inning was all the support Blake Snell would need, though Voit also knocked an RBI double in the fifth. The 31-year-old slugger is up to 13 long balls, 47 RBI, 38 runs scored, 18 doubles and a stolen base through 79 contests.
