Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Steals 10th base
Freeman went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in a 4-0 loss Sunday in Kansas City.
Freeman reached on an error and stole second base in the eighth inning. It was his 10th steal in 12 tries this season, tying his career high for stolen bases in a season. Since the beginning of July, he's posted a .352/.422/.570 line with six homers and an 18:16 BB:K in 38 games.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Slugs three extra-base hits
Walker went 4-for-5 with a home run, two doubles, a run and four RBI in a 7-4 victory over Colorado on Sunday.
Walker opened the scoring with an RBI double in the first inning, connected on a 460-foot three run home run in the third, singled in the fifth and doubled again in the ninth for his first four-hit game of the season. The outburst comes on the heels of him reaching base four times Tuesday, and the 31-year-old is 10-for-21 with three walks across his last six games. The long ball was Walker's 27th and pulls him into a tie with Anthony Rizzo for eighth most in MLB.

Michael Toglia 1B | COL
Rockies' Michael Toglia: Headed to Albuquerque
Toglia was promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque on Aug. 10.
Toglia spent the entire season with Double-A Hartford, and he managed to maintain a .347 wOBA and 114 wRC+ across 420 plate appearances. He also struck out at a 30.2 percent clip, which will be something to monitor as he continues to progress through the upper levels of the minor leagues and into the majors. After playing exclusively at first base in 2021, Toglia has played a handful of games in right field -- a move that could accelerate his path to Colorado.

Yuli Gurriel DH | SD
Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Takes seat Sunday
Gurriel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.
Gurriel is 6-for-12 with a double, an RBI and four runs over the past three games but will head to the bench Sunday. Trey Mancini will step in at first base and bat sixth in the series finale versus Oakland.

Nick Pratto 1B | TEX
Royals' Nick Pratto: Out of Sunday's lineup
Pratto is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Dodgers, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.
Pratto started the last nine games and will receive a day off after posting a .789 OPS with two home runs, four RBI and seven runs during that span. MJ Melendez will work in left field while Brent Rooker serves as the designated hitter in Sunday's series finale.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Set to sit with hand issue
Mountcastle (hand) isn't expected to be in the lineup Sunday against the Rays due to a left hand injury, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.
The 24-year-old was struck by a pitch on the left hand during the ninth inning of Saturday's victory and is dealing with some soreness and swelling. It doesn't sound as though the injury is a serious concern, so Mountcastle should be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Braves' Matt Olson: Homers twice Saturday
Olson went 3-for-9 with two home runs and four RBI across both games of Saturday's doubleheader against the Marlins.
Olson homered in each game of the doubleheader, bringing his total on the season to 24. He's now gone yard in three consecutive games and has at least one hit in eight of his last nine contests. For the season, Olson now has a .250/.337/.493 line across 505 plate appearances.

LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Flexes power in win
Wade went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run scored, a double and a walk in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Pirates.
Wade went yard off former Giant Tyler Beede in the third inning, which was the last run in this low-scoring contest. Through nine contests in August, Wade has gone 5-for-18 (.278), though all of those hits have gone for extra bases (three homers, two doubles). The 28-year-old's batting average reached .200 for the first time since July 7 with this multi-hit effort, and he's added a .759 OPS, six long balls, 18 RBI, 13 runs scored, four doubles and a triple through 120 plate appearances this year.

Vinnie Pasquantino 1B | KC
Royals' Vinnie Pasquantino: Resting Saturday
Pasquantino will sit Saturday against the Dodgers.
Pasquantino has had a near-everyday role since his promotion in late June. His .247/.331/.404 slash line is a merely good 109 wRC+, but his combination of a 14.5 percent strikeout rate and a 10.6 percent barrel rate suggests his numbers could improve going forward. Nick Pratto will be the first baseman Saturday while Brent Rooker serves as the designated hitter.

Carlos Santana 1B | ARI
Mariners' Carlos Santana: Not starting Saturday
Santana will sit Saturday against the Rangers.
Santana has gone cold at the plate recently, slashing .127/.206/.291 over his last 17 games. He'll sit for the third time in the last six games Saturday, with Mitch Haniger serving as the designated hitter.
