Bohm went 3-for-5 with two home runs and six RBI during Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Mets.
Bohm opened the scoring with a three-run shot in the first inning and added another three-run homer in the fourth, both off of starter Jose Butto. The 26-year-old snapped a 15-game homerless drought and is now up to 10 long balls on the year. After posting a .902 OPS in his last 37 games before the start of August, Bohm was slashing just .208/.247/.292 through 18 games this month before Sunday's big performance.

Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Hits 40th double
Freeman went 3-for-5 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's 10-3 win over the Marlins.
Freeman is the first player in the majors to reach 40 doubles this year, doing so in the sixth inning of Sunday's win. He's hit a home run and three two-baggers while going 10-for-28 (.357) across his last seven contests. The first baseman is slashing .324/.400/.521 with 16 homers, 74 RBI, 85 runs scored and 10 stolen bases through 120 games this season. This is the fourth time in his career he's reached the 40-double mark, and he has a good chance of smashing his previous career high of 44.

Rangers' Kole Calhoun: Singles in return
Calhoun (heel) went 1-for-4 in a 7-0 win Sunday in Minnesota.
Calhoun hit seventh and played left field in his first game since Aug. 2. The 34-year-old singled in the ninth and was removed for a pinch runner. Before the injury, he was amid a long slump, hitting just .162/.226/.274 with four homers and 67 strikeouts in his previous 52 games. With the Rangers out of playoff contention and youngsters Bubba Thompson and Leody Taveras getting regular playing time, Calhoun may end up on the bench more frequently down the stretch than he was earlier in the year.

Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Slugs 26th homer
Tellez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Sunday's 5-2 victory over the Cubs.
The Brewers' slugger took a 3-1 fastball from Mark Leiter 444 feet in the seventh inning to bring the Brewers within a run before Keston Hiura went back-to-back to tie the game. Tellez also scored in the ninth inning on Hiura's second home run of the afternoon after reaching base via a walk. The first baseman has been effective in August with a .255/.377/.588 slash line entering Sunday's matchup. He now has 26 homers on the season, tied for fifth in the majors among first basemen.

Brewers' Keston Hiura: Cranks two homers
Hiura went 2-for-4 with two homers, three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Cubs.
The Brewers' DH went hitless in his two at bats against starter Justin Steele but got to the Cubs' bullpen with a solo shot in the seventh to tie the game at 2-2 and a two-run homer in the top of the ninth to push the game to 5-2. The 26-year-old is now slashing .247/.349/.507 despite his strikeout rate being north of 40%. If he can find a way to more regular at-bats, he could continue to be a sneaky source of home runs the rest of the way.

Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Sits versus lefty
Cronenworth is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.
Cronenworth will be one of two lefty-hitting regulars who will hit the bench for the series finale, as Trent Grisham is also sitting with southpaw Patrick Corbin taking the hill for Washington. Brandon Drury will fill in at second base for Cronenworth, who went 1-for-3 with a walk and his second stolen base of the season in Saturday's 2-1 win.

Nationals' Luke Voit: Missing third straight game
Voit (back) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
Voit will be on the bench for a third consecutive game while he contends with back spasms. Joey Meneses will pick up a start at first base in Voit's stead.

Rockies' C.J. Cron: Sits in second straight
Cron is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants, Patrick Lyons of TheDNVR.com reports.
The Rockies haven't revealed that Cron is dealing with an injury, but he'll find himself out of the lineup for a second straight game in any case. Rookie Elehuris Montero will pick up the start at first base in place of the 32-year-old Cron, who could see his opportunities tail off a bit down the stretch while the 53-69 Rockies are in evaluation mode.

Kole Calhoun 1B | CLE
Rangers' Kole Calhoun: Activated, starting Sunday
The Rangers activated Calhoun (heel) from the 10-day injured list Sunday. He'll start in left field and bat seventh in the Rangers' series finale in Minnesota.
Following a two-and-a-half-week stint on the IL, Calhoun was cleared to rejoin the Rangers after completing a three-game rehab assignment at Triple-A Round Rock. Utility man Josh Smith was sent to Round Rock to clear room on the active roster for Calhoun, who is likely to step back into a large-side platoon role in the Rangers' corner outfield.

Rays' Yandy Diaz: Resting Sunday
Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Diaz isn't known to be nursing an injury, but he'll find himself on the bench for the second time in three days nonetheless. Isaac Paredes will fill in at the hot corner in place of Diaz, who is slashing .218/.328/.418 with two home runs, five doubles, 12 RBI, eight runs and an 9:8 BB:K over 15 games in August.
