Casas isn't in the Red Sox's lineup Sunday against the Cubs, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

After starting the second half 3-for-8 with two homers and three RBI, Casas will catch a breather against southpaw Justin Steele. Justin Turner will start at first base in Casas' absence, allowing Jorge Alfaro to serve as Boston's designated hitter and bat sixth.

Mountcastle isn't in the Orioles' lineup Sunday against Miami.

After starting off the second half 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored, Mountcastle will get a day off in Sunday's series finale. Ryan O'Hearn will fill in at first base and bat fourth.

Raley went 4-for-8 with three RBI and a stolen base over both games of Saturday's doubleheader sweep of Kansas City.

Raley collected two hits in each contest. Though all four of his base knocks went for a single, the first baseman knocked in three of his team's 10 total runs across the pair of victories. Raley continues to thrive in his first full major-league campaign, posting a .279/.356/.571 slash line, 15 homers, 39 RBI, 45 runs and 10 steals over 248 plate appearances. However, he hasn't taken a walk or scored a run in five straight games.

Abreu went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 13-12 extra-inning loss to the Angels.

Abreu has a pair of multi-hit efforts to open the second half. He also snapped a seven-game homer drought Saturday. All eight of his homers have come since May 28, as it appears the veteran first baseman is starting to get his power on track again. He's added a .245/.294/.359 slash line with 49 RBI, 32 runs scored and 15 doubles through 89 contests.

Cron went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Yankees.

Cron has four multi-hit efforts over nine games in July, but he's also gone hitless three times this month. The first baseman has added two of his eight homers this season in that stretch. He's at a decent .251/.295/.441 slash line with 24 RBI, 26 runs scored and 10 doubles through 49 contests overall.

Noda went 1-for-5 with a solo homer in Saturday's loss to the Twins.

Noda blasted a solo home run off Pablo Lopez in the fourth, marking his 10th long ball of the season. However, he wasn't able to put another ball in play, striking out in each of his other four at-bats. The first baseman has collected a hit in eight of his last 10 games but hasn't had a multi-hit performance since June 13. Through 87 games, Noda is slashing .225/.375/.404 with a monstrous 33.9 percent strikeout rate.

Hall isn't in the Phillies' lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against San Diego, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Left-hander Ryan Weathers will start Game 2 on the mound for San Diego, so the left-handed bat of Hall will stay put in Philly's dugout. Alec Bohm will take over at first base, allowing Edmundo Sosa to start at third and bat seventh.

Kirilloff will sit Saturday against Oakland.

Kirilloff posted an .810 OPS over his final 11 games before the break but went 0-for-4 to kick off the second half Friday. Donovan Solano will start at first base, with the Twins seemingly setting up to face more of left-handed bulk reliever Hogan Harris rather than right-handed opener Austin Pruitt.

Cooper isn't in the Marlins' lineup Saturday against Baltimore, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

After going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts during Friday's game, Cooper will sit out Saturday to regroup. Yuli Gurriel will take over as Miami's first baseman and bat fifth.

Abreu went 3-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored Friday against the Angels.

Abreu entered the All-Star break having gone just 3-for-21 in his final six games with no extra-base hits. However, he started the second half strong, highlighted by an RBI single in the sixth inning. After a slow start to the season, Abreu has maintained a more typical .805 OPS with 26 RBI and 15 runs scored across his last 34 games.
