Tellez went 1-for-1 with a two-run home run in Sunday's loss to the Brewers.

The veteran slugger replaced Matt Olson at first base with the game out of hand late, and Tellez took Chad Patrick deep in the ninth inning in his only plate appearance. It was Tellez's first homer in five games since joining Atlanta's 26-man roster earlier this month, but he has yet to make a start for his new team while stuck behind Olson and Dominic Smith on the depth charts at first base and DH.

Rice went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Sunday in a loss to Cincinnati.

Rice produced the lone New York run Sunday with a 375-foot solo homer in the third inning. The slugger has shown no signs of slowing down after a hot start to the season -- over his past seven games, he's batting .310 (9-for-29) with four homers and eight RBI. Rice is among the MLB leaders in several categories, including OPS (1.004, second place), homers (22. fourth place) and RBI (53, tied for eighth place).

Harper went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and a double in Sunday's win over the Mets.

After hitting for the cycle Saturday, Harper fell a triple shy of repeating the feat in Sunday's win. His solo homer in the fifth inning was a line-drive shot to right field that left the bat at a game-high 108.1 mph. The 33-year-old has put together a strong campaign, hitting .266 with an .896 OPS, 17 homers, 44 RBI, 51 runs and five stolen bases across 77 games.

Alonso went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run, an additional run scored and two walks in Sunday's 12-1 victory over the Dodgers.

Alonso added on in the rout, crushing a three-run homer in the seventh inning to extend the Orioles' lead to 10-1. The first baseman has put together a strong June, slashing .290/.398/.609 with seven homers, 16 RBI, 14 runs and a stolen base across 19 games this month. In his first season with Baltimore, the 31-year-old is hitting .249/.337/.475 with 18 homers, 52 RBI, 48 runs and two stolen bases through 79 contests.

The Angels outrighted Mancini to Triple-A Salt Lake on Sunday.

Mancini has the ability to elect free agency after clearing waivers, but it looks as though he'll stick around in the Angels organization for the time being. The 34-year-old recently received his first look in the big leagues since 2023, appearing in five games for the Angels and going 4-for-13 with four RBI and a run before he was designated for assignment Wednesday.

Kurtz went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI, a walk and two total runs scored in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Angels.

Kurtz had looked a little human, going just 4-for-19 (.211) with a 4:12 BB:K over the previous five games. He got back to his power-hitting ways in this contest, lifting a seventh-inning homer that ended up being the Athletics' last scoring play of the game. The first baseman is up to 19 homers, 61 RBI, 56 runs scored, seven stolen bases, 15 doubles and a triple while batting .290 with a .995 OPS through 77 games this year.

Rumfield went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Sunday's 8-6 loss to the Pirates.

Rumfield put a big dent in a seven-run deficit with his eighth-inning blast, but the Rockies' comeback ultimately fell short. The first baseman has hit consistently and for power lately, going 15-for-42 (.357) with five homers and 13 RBI over his last 11 games. For the season, he's batting .279 with an .842 OPS, 12 long balls, 42 RBI, 34 runs scored, 14 doubles and two triples over 75 contests.

White Sox manager Will Venable said Sunday that Murakami (hamstring) is increasing the intensity of his hitting and running at about 80 percent intensity, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Murakami received a platelet-rich plasma injection for his Grade 2 right hamstring strain after landing on the shelf in late May, after which he was given an initial recovery timeline of 4-to-6 weeks. The 29-year-old may require a minor-league rehab assignment before coming off the injured list, but he appears to be tracking toward a return before the All-Star break.

Grissom is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

The Angels have been managing Grissom's workload since he returned from the injured list Wednesday. He'll head to the bench for the second time in five games since his activation, paving the way for Christian Moore to pick up a start at second base.

Vargas will start at first base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Twins.

Vargas will crack the starting nine for the fourth time in five games, though Sunday marks the first time during that stretch that the'll be included in the lineup against a right-hander (Mike Paredes). Over Arizona's last four contests, Vargas has gone 3-for-12 with one double, two walks, five RBI and three runs, but he's still sitting on a lowly .368 OPS overall in June.
