Garcia is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Giants.

As per usual, the left-handed-hitting Garcia will find himself on the bench as the Giants send a southpaw (Robbie Ray) to the hill. Andres Chaparro will replace Garcia at first base and will bat third.

France is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest versus the Reds.

After making six consecutive starts, France has now been held out of the lineup two days in a row. He did enter mid-game Tuesday as a pinch hitter and will be available off the bench again. Gavin Sheets is playing first base for San Diego.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Tuesday's 12-3 rout of the Pirates.

The veteran first baseman's RBI single in the seventh inning gave Freeman a big personal milestone, as it was his 2,500th career hit, most among all active players. Freeman turns 37 in September, but he seems to have plenty left in the tank, slashing .284/.366/.481 through 64 games on the season with 10 home runs, two steals, 35 runs and 36 RBI. Freeman's current contract runs through 2027, but a realistic shot at becoming the first player since Miguel Cabrera to reach 3,000 hits might encourage the future Hall of Famer to stick around.

Manzardo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Yankees.

The Guardians will roll out a right-handed-heavy lineup to counter Yankees southpaw Carlos Rodon in the series finale, so Manzardo will take a seat Wednesday along with fellow lefty hitters Chase DeLauter and Steven Kwan. Cleveland will go with Rhys Hoskins at first base in Manzardo's stead.

Stewart went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and two walks in Tuesday's 5-3 extra-innings win over the Padres.

Stewart's blast came in the 11th inning, and it was enough to put the Reds ahead for good. He had gone 15 games without a homer prior to Tuesday, batting just .218 with four doubles and six RBI in that span. For the season, Stewart is hitting .254 with an .815 OPS, 13 long balls, 42 RBI, 36 runs scored, 10 stolen bases and 13 doubles across 66 contests. He has mostly played first base and third base while also making six appearances at the keystone.

Olson went 2-for-4 with two home runs, a walk and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the White Sox.

Olson wasted little time making an impact, opening the scoring with a two-run homer off opener Brandon Eisert in the first inning. Olson came right back in his next plate appearance and launched a solo shot, giving him his first multi-homer game of the season. The first baseman has been swinging the bat well lately, collecting four homers over his last 13 games while batting .302 during that stretch. Olson is now up to 19 home runs on the year, trailing only Kyle Schwarber for the National League lead, and he owns a .271 average and .903 OPS through 67 games.

Garcia went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Giants.

Garcia got the scoring started with a first-inning blast, and the Nationals never looked back. He's slugged three long balls over his last five games, a span in which he's gone 5-for-18 (.278). For the season, he is hitting .262 with a .749 OPS, eight homers, 40 RBI, 25 runs scored and two stolen bases over 62 contests. He's halfway to matching his homer total from 139 games a year ago.

Kurtz went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Brewers.

Kurtz has launched four homers over his last three games and seven long balls over his last 11 contests. This stretch has gotten the first baseman back in the neighborhood of what's expected of him from a power standpoint -- he now has 15 homers on the year. Kurtz is also batting .283 with a .969 OPS, 49 RBI, 46 runs scored, 12 doubles, one triple and seven stolen bases over 302 plate appearances this season.

Burleson went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-0 win against the Mets.

Burleson did his damage in back-to-back plate appearances against Freddy Peralta -- a two-run homer in the fifth, followed by a seventh-inning RBI double. He has now hit safely in nine straight games, recording five multi-hit performances during that stretch. Burleson is batting .329 over his last 20 games, pushing his season line to .293/.360/.472 with nine homers, a team-leading 17 doubles, 46 RBI and 33 runs scored across 275 plate appearances.

Busch went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Rockies.

Busch enjoyed the thin air at Coors Field as he lifted his seventh home run of the season in the sixth inning. The Chicago first baseman has been good lately with a .342 batting average, the one long ball and six RBI across his last 10 games. Overall, Busch is now sporting a .773 OPS and has 37 RBI across 66 contests this year, which is a step back from his 2025 production level but still plenty useful.
