Bell went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Astros on Wednesday. He also scored three runs and drew a pair of walks.

The home run was Bell's third in June and 21st overall. He's hitting .222/.330/.457 for the month after slashing .390/.442/.797 with 12 homers in May. The first baseman continues to lead the majors with 28 doubles and 68 RBI. He's already surpassed his extra-base total from 2018 (47) with 52.

The Twins will call up Wade from Triple-A Rochester ahead of Thursday's game against the Rays, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

The transaction isn't official and Minnesota has yet to announce a corresponding move for its 25-man roster, but Wade is likely joining the Twins to offer an extra body in the outfield with Eddie Rosario (ankle) and Max Kepler (elbow) both banged up. With Byron Buxton (wrist) and Marwin Gonzalez (hamstring) already stuck on the 10-day injured list, Wade could claim an everyday role for Minnesota if one or both of Rosario and Kepler are ultimately shut down through the All-Star break. Wade has slashed .248/.393/.366 with five home runs and six steals in 302 plate appearances in the International League this season.

Abreu went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, four RBI and two runs in an 8-7 victory against the Red Sox on Wednesday.

The 32-year-old is experiencing an exponentially better month at the plate than a generally lackluster May during which he hit .225, albeit with 10 home runs. Following his seventh multi-hit game of June, Abreu is now batting .287 with four homers and nine RBI this month. That's raised his season average to .260 and boosted his slugging percentage above .500. Overall, he has 19 home runs, 59 RBI, 40 runs and two stolen bases in 311 at-bats this season.

Toglia went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, an RBI, a walk and three runs for Low-A Boise on Wednesday.

Toglia had gone hitless since getting a knock in his professional debut last Friday, but he flashed some of the offensive prowess that led the Rockies to make him the No. 23 pick in the 2019 first-year player draft in this contest. The 6-foot-5, 200-pound switch-hitter slashed .314/.392/.624 with 17 homers and 65 RBI as a junior for UCLA last season.

Smith went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored Thursday against the Phillies.

Smith took Nick Pivetta deep in the fourth inning to record his seventh home run of the season and third in as many games. He's thoroughly enjoyed facing the Phillies' pitching staff, collecting six hits while scoring five runs and driving in three across three games during the just-concluded series. Though he remains out of the lineup fairly regularly, Smith has made his case for more playing time by posting a .339/.438/.606 line across 128 plate appearances.

Bour went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in a win over the Reds on Wednesday.

Bour hit a fastball for a solo home run in the fifth inning and added a three-run shot in the eighth inning for his first mult-home run game of the season. Since coming back from Triple-A, Bour has four home runs in 24 plate appearances. Overall, Bour has a .190/.272/.430 slash line this season.

Dixon allowed 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Rangers.

Dixon accounted for the Tigers' only offense on the evening, taking Mike Minor deep in the fourth inning. It was his 10th homer of the season, and third in his past 10 games. Though he's striking out at a 31 percent clip, Dixon has managed a solid .488 slugging percentage and .231 ISO through 167 plate appearances.

Manager Kevin Cash said there is a "very good chance" Diaz (hamstring) returns from the injured list Thursday, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

Diaz has been sidelined since June 16 with a hamstring injury, but it sounds like he's on track to return from the injured list when first eligible Thursday. Prior to landing on the shelf, the third baseman slashed .286/.363/.502 with 11 home runs and a stolen base in 56 games.

Calhoun is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Reds.

Calhoun will retreat to the bench for Wednesday's series finale after starting the past eight games and going 7-for-32 (.219) with a pair of home runs and a 27.8 percent strikeout rate during that stretch. Brian Goodwin is starting in right field Wednesday.

Solano went 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run Tuesday in the Giants' 4-2 win over the Rockies.

Solano drew a second consecutive start in the middle infield, spelling a slumping Joe Panik at the keystone. Though he was able to extend his hitting streak to five games, Solano's dearth of power and speed, poor team context and lack of steady at-bats are all reasons that make it difficult to get excited about him for fantasy purposes. With Panik and everyday shortstop Brandon Crawford both in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale, Solano will resume his usual bench role.
