Olson went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 4-3 extra-innings win over the Astros.

The first baseman's 21st homer of the year was a big one, as he took Roberto Osuna deep in the ninth inning to send the game to extras. Olson is now slashing a strong .262/.344/.555 through 69 games on the year.

Wade (thumb) threw Tuesday but remains unable to catch, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Wade has been out with a dislocated thumb on his glove hand since early July. Given that he's still not able to use the thumb, his return doesn't appear to be imminent.

Hiura (quadriceps) is starting at second base and batting seventh Tuesday against Cincinnati.

Hiura was scratched from Monday's lineup due to quad tightness, but he was able to make a pinch-hit appearance Monday night and has been given the green light to return Tuesday. The rookie second baseman has been red hot of late, slashing .486/.537/.865 with a home run and nine RBI over his last 10 games.

Lowe remains on the bench against lefty Chris Sale and the Red Sox on Tuesday, source reports.

The Red Sox will trot out a third straight southpaw, David Price, on Wednesday, so Lowe could wind up stuck on the bench all series. Travis d'Arnaud remains the starter at first base in his absence.

Diaz was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a left foot contusion, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

Diaz was forced to exit Monday's game against the Red Sox after fouling a ball off his foot. He'll now miss at least 10 days, but X-rays confirmed that he was able to avoid a fracture. Matt Duffy (hamstring) was activated off the 60-day injured list in a corresponding move and should spend a fair amount of time at third base in Diaz's absence, with Mike Brosseau and Joey Wendle also in the mix.

Hiura (quadriceps) walked in a pinch-hitting appearance Monday in the Brewers' 6-5 loss to the Reds.

The Brewers made Hiura a late scratch from the starting nine while the rookie was battling a tight left quad, but his usage off the bench implies his injury isn't a major concern. Hiura will presumably be re-evaluated when he reports to work Tuesday before the Brewers decide whether to reinsert him back into the lineup at second base or extend him another day off.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk during a 6-5 victory against the Pirates on Monday.

The veteran first baseman smashed his grand slam to right-center in the top of the 10th, and the Cardinals needed all four of those runs, as the Pirates answered with three in the bottom of the 10th. Goldschmidt isn't experiencing a characteristic season based on his standards in his first year with the Cardinals, but he is on pace to eclipse the 30-homer mark for the third straight season. Goldschmidt is batting .248 with 19 home runs, 48 RBI, and 57 runs in 367 at-bats this season.

Gurriel went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's 11-1 win over Oakland.

Gurriel took Homer Bailey deep for a two-run shot as part of a seven-run third inning, where he also registered an RBI single. The 35-year-old infielder is riding an 11-game hitting streak and has seen his OPS swell from .726 to .847 since the start of July. He's racked up a ridiculous 11 homers and 26 RBI in just 17 games this month.

Diaz left Monday's game against the Red Sox after fouling a ball off his left foot, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Diaz immediately went down after fouling a ball off his own foot, and after being looked at by the team trainer, he hobbled off the field. Nate Lowe entered the contest with an 0-2 count and finished the at-bat. Diaz will be considered day-to-day until the severity of his injury is uncovered. He was headed for X-rays late Monday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Hiura was scratched from Monday's lineup against the Reds due to left quadriceps tightness.

Hiura was named the National League player of the week earlier in the day, but he'll be held out Monday due to injury. He'll be considered day-to-day moving forward. Tyler Saladino draws the start at the keystone and will bat eight in Hiura's stead.
