O'Hearn is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.

After being recalled from Triple-A Omaha on Saturday, O'Hearn drew back-to-back starts at first base, going 1-for-8 with two RBI between the two contests. O'Hearn will take a seat Monday with the Blue Jays bringing a lefty pitcher (Thomas Pannone) to the hill, but he could handle a large-side platoon role until the Royals get Adalberto Mondesi (shoulder) back from the injured list. Though he plays in the middle infield, Mondesi's eventual return would likely create a domino effect that would make O'Hearn the odd man out in Kansas City's regular lineup versus righties.

Olson went 2-for-4 with an RBI infield single, a double, a walk and a run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Olson had a busy day at the plate, and his ninth-inning infield single brought home Chris Herrmann to tie the game. The slugger snapped an 0-for-10 slump that had encompassed his prior three games with what was his fifth multi-hit effort of July. Thanks to a hot start to the month, Olson is still hitting a solid .274 since the calendar flipped despite the aforementioned three-game skid, leading to an eight-point boost in his season average to .255.

Lowe went 3-for-5 with an RBI single, a double and a run in a win over the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Lowe was a constant thorn in the side of Blue Jays pitching throughout the afternoon, and his second straight multi-hit effort pushed his season average back over the .300 mark. The rookie is making excellent use of his current major-league stint, as he's now hitting .327 (18-for-55) with four doubles, five home runs and 12 RBI since being called back up from Triple-A Durham on July 4.

Solano went 2-for-3 with a pair of walks, a pair of RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Padres.

Solano got to start and lead off as he usually does against opposing southpaws. The 31-year-old infielder has been raking in a semi-regular role this month, slashing .381/.412/.587 through 19 games (67 plate appearances) in July. Joe Panik continues to see the bulk of playing time at the keystone against righties, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Solano eat into his playing time even further if the former continues to struggle at the plate (.232/.306/.313 for Panik this year).

Walker (elbow) believes his injury is nothing more than a contusion, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

On Saturday, Walker was plunked on the left forearm, which led to swelling in his elbow. "It's better, a little bit better," Walker said. "It's still pretty stiff and sore. I think if it keeps progressing, I should be good to go tomorrow." He sat out Sunday's game and is hopeful that once the inflammation goes down, he'll be ready to play.

Bell's absence from Sunday's game was not related to the apparent left hand/wrist injury he suffered Saturday, general manager Neal Huntington told 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh.

Bell remained in Saturday's game following the collision with baserunner Steven Matz after Matz swung at a third strike in the dirt. The pitcher hustled up the first base line and Bell leaped to catch the throw from catcher Jacob Stallings. When he applied the tag to Matz, Bell dropped his glove and clenched his left hand in pain. Fortunately, the first baseman was healthy enough to appear in the on-deck circle Sunday before Adam Frazier made the final out. Bell is slashing .216/.324/.462 in his last 204 plate appearances since the end of May.

Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a double, four RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Rays.

Guerrero delivered a big day at the dish, driving in a run with an RBI single in the third inning. He would later plate two more in the fifth with a single to right, and he finished off his day with an RBI double to left in the sixth. The 20-year-old closed out the weekend in an impressive fashion, registering seven RBI and three extra-base hits over his last two contests.

Hoskins went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Braves.

Hoskins tacked on a pair of insurance runs in the seventh inning, clubbing a two-run homer to extend his team's lead to four. The 26-year-old has now hit safely in five of his last six contests, registering three extra-base hits and five RBI during that stretch. He's now slashing .260/.397/.520 with 22 home runs and 66 RBI over 104 games this season.

Santana went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's 9-6 loss to Kansas City.

Santana got Cleveland rolling early with his first-inning long ball but the team cooled off in a hurry after. It was a good sign after the switch-hitting slugger had been missing from the lineup for two games with some shoulder soreness. The 33-year-old is up to 22 home runs with 57 RBI and a career-high .926 OPS.

Santana (shoulder) will start at designated hitter and will bat third Sunday against the Royals.

Santana was withheld from action the previous two days due to left shoulder soreness, but the brief layoff was apparently all the veteran needed to overcome the issue. Since taking part in the Home Run Derby during the All-Star week festivities, Santana has gone just 10-for-52 (.192 average) with two long balls in 14 games.
