Guerrero (knee) was spotted taking groundballs prior to Tuesday's game against the Dodgers, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Guerrero appears unlikely to play in Tuesday's matchup, but it's good to see that he's getting some fielding work in. An update on his availability may come after the rookie completes his workout.

Cron isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Cron will take a seat for the second time in the last three days. As a result, Marwin Gonzalez draws the start at first base and will bat eighth.

France is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Reds.

He is out of the lineup for the second game in a row and is 1-for-12 with four strikeouts and zero walks since rejoining the big-league club. Greg Garcia gets another start at second base while leading off.

The Blue Jays view Guerrero (knee) as day-to-day and believe he'll be able to return to the lineup at some point during their three-game series with the Dodgers that begins Tuesday, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports.

Heyman's report more or less aligns with what Guerrero had to say about his left knee injury Sunday, when the rookie labeled his bout with inflammation as "nothing major." Guerrero has already missed one game with the injury and seems unlikely to be ready to go for Tuesday's series opener, but the fact that the Blue Jays aren't considering the 20-year-old as week-to-week implies some level of optimism that he'll avoid a stint on the injured list. Brandon Drury will likely handle most of the action at the hot corner for however long Guerrero is ultimately sidelined.

Bell went 1-for-4 against Washington on Monday.

He had been hitless in his last 12 at-bats, going four games without a hit for the first time in 2019. Bell batted .474 with four homers and nine RBI in a five-game stretch last week but has fallen off once again. The first baseman is 1-for-8 in his career against Tuesday's starter Stephen Strasburg. Bell still leads the National League with 36 doubles and is tied for first in RBI (98), along with Eduardo Escobar and Freddie Freeman.

Gurriel went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Monday's 5-4 win over the Tigers.

Gurriel's RBI explosion continues apace. The 35-year-old has been Houston's most productive hitter in the second half, swatting 11 home runs and 13 doubles while driving in 38 runs over the last 34 games. His career-high 88 RBI lead the Astros.

Cabrera went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a home run, two runs scored and five RBI in Monday's 13-0 rout of the Pirates.

After going deep 12 times in 93 games for the Rangers to begin the season, this was Cabrera's first homer in nine contests as a Nat. The veteran infielder is faring much better overall at the plate than he did in Texas, though, slashing .379/.472/.655 with 10 RBI and a 6:3 BB:K for Washington.

Abreu went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run to help the White Sox to a 6-4 victory over the Twins on Monday.

Abreu provided the crucial blow in this contest, touching up Kyle Gibson with a three-run long ball in the third inning for his 27th of the season. The slugger is now slashing .273/.313/.491 across 495 at-bats as he remains on pace to cross the 30-homer threshold for the fourth time in his career.

Cronenworth (hamstring) is close to rejoining Triple-A Durham, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Cronenworth hasn't played since July 16 due to a hamstring injury, but he's on the cusp of rejoining the Bulls after starting up a rehab assignment with Tampa Bay's Gulf Coast League affiliate Monday. Prior to getting hurt, the 25-year-old was slashing .342/.432/.540 with 10 home runs and 11 steals in 86 games for Durham.

France is not in Monday's lineup against the Reds.

France is 1-for-11 with three strikeouts and zero walks in three games since taking over as the primary second baseman. Greg Garcia will start at the keystone and lead off.
