Olson (eye) isn't starting Friday's game against the Orioles, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Olson has been dealing with an eye issue since he suffered an injury during batting practice Thursday, and he'll be out of the lineup for a second straight day. Mitch Moreland will start at first base while Jed Lowrie shifts to DH and Tony Kemp enters the lineup at the keystone.

Voit (knee) is scheduled to play a rehab game with Double-A Somerset on Tuesday, Lindsey Adler of The Athletic reports.

The 30-year-old progressed to taking live at-bats at the alternate training site this week, and the next step in his recovery is rehab games. Voit could require a fair amount of reps before being cleared for big-league action after missing the first month of the season while recovering from knee surgery in late March for a partially torn meniscus.

Cooper (foot) is starting in right field and batting third Friday against the Nationals.

He gets a favorable lineup placement with southpaw Jon Lester on the hill for Washington. Cooper fouled a ball off his left foot in Wednesday's game.

Naylor is out of the lineup Friday against the White Sox.

Naylor is splitting his playing time between first base and right field, but he'll be on the bench for Friday's contest. Yu Chang receives the start at first base while Jordan Luplow works in right for Cleveland.

Gurriel is not in the lineup Friday against the Rays, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

The 36-year-old started the first 25 games of the season at first base for the Astros, and he'll receive a well-earned day off after posting a .999 OPS with four homers, seven doubles, 16 RBI and 11 runs. Aledmys Diaz will take over at first base in place of Gurriel on Friday.

Hiura will not start Friday against Los Angeles, Craig Coshun of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports

This will be the infielder's third consecutive game out of the lineup. Hiura's average, now .169, has risen slowly since a dreadful start to 2021, but he continues to cede playing time to Daniel Vogelbach at first base.

White was placed on the bereavement list Friday.

White will likely miss at least the weekend series against the Angels while on the list. Jacob Nottingham was added to the roster in a corresponding move.

Vaughn started in left field for both games of Thursday's doubleheader against the Tigers. He was a combined 3-for-6 with two doubles, a walk and three runs scored in Chicago's sweep.

Vaughn's average has steadily climbed after opening the season with three hits in his first 22 at-bats (.136). Since then, the rookie's reached base safely in seven straight with hits in six of them, going 9-for-22 and pushing his average to .273. Eventually, the White Sox hope to see Vaughn display more power. He has just one RBI over 15 games for a team that ranks second in MLB with 5.16 runs per game.

Abreu went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBI in Thursday's win over Tigers in the second leg of the doubleheader.

The right-handed hitter provided the White Sox with more of a cushion following his single to knock in two off Michael Fulmer in the fourth inning. The reigning MVP is now slashing .222/.308/.411 in 2021.

Rizzo went 3-for-6 in Thursday's 9-3 win over Atlanta.

All three hits were singles, and Rizzo was unable to score any of the Cubs' nine runs, but it was still a solid night. He also hit leadoff for the second straight game, which could quickly become a more regular thing if he continues to excel in that spot. Ian Happ, who started the season as the team's leadoff hitter, was out of the lineup for the second straight day. When he returns, it will be interesting to see how the Cubs' batting order shakes out.
