LaMonte Wade Jr. LF | HOU
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Goes yard in win
Wade went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-1 win over the Angels.
Wade has recorded a hit in all four games since he was recalled to fill in for Darin Ruf (hamstring). The 27-year-old Wade has produced a homer, two RBI, four runs scored and a stolen base through nine games this season. While he's been solid at the plate, the lefty hitter is likely to platoon with the right-handed Wilmer Flores at first base.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Nationals' Josh Bell: Homers in loss
Bell went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Monday's 5-3 loss to Atlanta.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Dealing with allergies
Vaughn missed both games of Monday's doubleheader due to allergies, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.
According to manger Tony La Russa, Vaughn was dealing with a headache among other symptoms. The 23-year-old played nearly every day in May, so the allergies don't figure to keep him out of action for very long. That being said, there's yet to be any confirmation that Vaughn will return to the lineup Tuesday against Cleveland.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Crosses plate twice
Olson went 2-for-4 with an RBI double, a walk and two runs scored in Monday's 6-5 extra-inning loss to Seattle.
The first baseman entered Monday in a skid after going just 1-for-11 in four games versus the Angels. He got back on track with an RBI double in the fifth inning Monday. Olson also scored in the eighth and 10th innings, although his error in the field indirectly led to Seattle's walkoff win in the bottom of the 10th. Through 207 plate appearances, Olson is slashing .258/.348/.545 with 13 home runs, 33 RBI and 31 runs scored.

Andrew Vaughn 1B | MIL
White Sox's Andrew Vaughn: Sits in both halves of twin bill
Vaughn is out of the lineup for the second game of Monday's doubleheader with Cleveland.
Vaughn didn't appear in the first game of the twin bill -- an 8-6 White Sox win -- either, but the team has yet to suggest his absence from the lineup for the nightcap is related to an injury. Jake Lamb will pick up another start in left field in Game 2 in place of Vaughn, who is slashing .226/.318/.391 on the season.

Pete Alonso 1B | BAL
Mets' Pete Alonso: Returns from IL
The Mets reinstated Alonso (hand) on the 10-day injured list ahead of Monday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Alonso spent just over the minimum amount of the time on the shelf while recovering from a sprained right hand. Expect the 2019 NL Rookie of the Year to immediately reclaim an everyday role at first base and in the heart of the lineup, with James McCann shifting back behind the plate.

Matt Beaty 1B | KC
Dodgers' Matt Beaty: Heads to bench
Beaty is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
The recent returns of Cody Bellinger and Zack McKinstry from the 10-day injured list could result in Beaty losing out on regular playing time. Beaty had started in seven of the Dodgers' last eight games, going 5-for-23 with a home run, two walks, five runs and four RBI.

Ryan Mountcastle 1B | BAL
Orioles' Ryan Mountcastle: Goes deep off Berrios
Mountcastle went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Twins in 10 innings.
The 24-year-old's fifth-inning deep fly off Twins ace Jose Berrios ended a rough stretch at the plate for Mountcastle, who had struck out seven times in 12 at-bats over the Orioles' last four games before Monday. Mountcastle's low contact and low walk rates will likely make him prone to slumps throughout the season, but the Orioles appear committed to playing him regularly amid the offensive dry spells.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Out of lineup Monday
Walker isn't starting Monday's game against the Mets.
Walker was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday and went 2-for-10 with three RBI and a strikeout in his first two games back. Pavin Smith will take over at first base and bat sixth.
