Bohm (COVID-19) tested positive for the virus and will miss at least 10 days, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Whether he misses more than 10 days will depend on his symptoms and future test results. Brad Miller and Luke Williams figure to carry the load at third base until Bohm returns.

Dalbec is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Phillies, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.

Bohm left Saturday's game against Boston due to health and safety protocols, and now his placement on the COVID-19 injured list means he'll remain out Sunday. The third baseman's post All-Star break status should become more clear as the week progresses.

Hiura is not in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Reds.

The 24-year-old entered Saturday's contest as a pinch hitter but struck out in both of his plate appearances. Rowdy Tellez will start at first base in a rough matchup against righty Luis Castillo.

Santana was replaced by Jarrod Dyson as Ryan O'Hearn shifted to first base late in Saturday's contest. The reason for Santana's departure wasn't clear initially, but it's now known that he banged up his wrist. He'll sit for the first time this season Sunday, and it's not currently clear if he'll be available off the bench. If Santana is given the entire game off, he'll have five full days to rest his wrist prior to the season resuming next Friday.

Santana is not starting Sunday against Cleveland.

Santana will get a breather after going hitless across seven at-bats during the previous two games. Ryan O'Hearn will start at first base as Jorge Soler handles the DH duties Sunday.

Calhoun started in right field and went 0-for-3 in Saturday's 22-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Calhoun was reinstated off the 60-day injured list Saturday, appearing in his first MLB game since April 27. He had suffered a setback while on rehab assignment, appearing in two games before being recalled from rehab. He has since gotten at-bats in the Arizona Complex League and at the team's training complex. He's in the final year of a two-year deal signed prior to the 2020 season, so Calhoun is a prime candidate to be moved to a playoff contender before the trade deadline.

Alonso went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Game 2 of Saturday's twin bill versus Pittsburgh.

The first baseman went 0-for-3 in the matinee but contributed a solo homer in the third inning of the nightcap. The long ball was his fourth in his past eight games, a stretch during which he has also collected nine RBI. Over that span, six of Alonso's seven hits have gone for extra bases.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and two total runs scored in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Cubs.

The first baseman's biggest play of the night was a moonshot to left-center field in the fifth inning off Cubs starter Zach Davies. Goldschmidt's hitting streak is up to 10 games, during which he's gone 16-for-40 (.400) with two homers, eight RBI and eight runs scored. He's slashing .265/.335/.432 with 13 long balls, 49 RBI, 48 runs scored and five stolen bases through 373 plate appearances overall. He remains a fixture in the top third of St. Louis' lineup.

General manager Jerry Dipoto said Saturday that White's hip injury is "more" ominous than the club originally thought, and that it is very possible the first baseman won't return this season, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

It was reported last week that White wasn't close to resuming baseball activities, and based on Saturday's update, it sounds like White has only regressed in recent days. While the first baseman hasn't officially been ruled out for the remainder of 2021, Dipoto's update indicates he almost certainly won't return in July. The club will continue to provide updates on White in the coming weeks.
